A lot of fans are praising the creation and noting its complexity, with TaintedTruffle saying: "If I was given an entire month I wouldn't know how to recreate this. Amazing."

The pond is actually fake, being created using said custom pathway, so occasionally, villagers will be walking on the water, too. New Horizons has a notably slow start, with many tools, areas, materials, and more locked off to the player until much later, encouraging players to return to the game after real-life days have ed, so creating a pathway like this one isn't as simple as gathering the materials and smashing it all together.
