As players craft their perfect island adventures to their own image. Outside of normal villagers, certain characters appear on the island for a special event. Here's when players can expect special visitors on their islands.
Special Visitors only visit during specific days during the month or even the year. Each of these characters can help players collect special items, sell bugs and fish for a higher price, or perform a concert in the town hall. One of the most popular of these special visitors is Daisy Mae. Players can quickly gain lots of Bells by selling turnips during the week. Daisy Mae only appears once during the week. - Flick: The player will need to have an upgraded Resident Services Building. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day.
- CJ: The player will need to have an upgraded Resident Services Building. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day.
- Daisy Mae: The player will need to have Nook's Cranny built. Daisy Mae will appear every Sunday from 5 AM to 12 PM.
- Gulliver: The player will need to wait for Blathers' arrival to be announced. He may appear from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day.
- Kicks: The player will need to have the Able Sisters build their shop in town. He can randomly appear from Monday - Friday. He can appear from 5 AM - 10 PM
- Wisp: No requirement. Wisp may appear from Monday - Sunday from 8 PM - 5 AM the next day.
- Redd: The player will need to have the game updated to version 1.2 or higher. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day.
- Label: The player will need to have the Able Sisters Tailor built. She can potentially visit from Monday - Friday at 5AM - Midnight.
- Leif: The player will need to have the game updated to version 1.2 or higher. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day. He can appear randomly from Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 AM the next day.
- Celeste: The player will need to have the museum build and a meteor shower scheduled. She will potentially appear Monday - Sunday from 7 PM - 5 AM the next day.
- Saharah: The player will need to have their home upgraded from the tent to a house. Saharah can appear from Monday - Sunday from 5 AM to Midnight.
- KK Slider: The player will need to have KK visit the island before for his first concert. He will then appear every Saturday from 5 AM to Midnight.
Special Visitors add a new layer of urgency to the game. Players will need to check-in during these specific times to reap the benefits of each character. Unfortunately, players cannot permanently recruit them for their islands. Some of these characters like KK Slider have been around since the very beginning of Animal Crossing. Although, there are over 200 villagers to recruit to help fill the void. Each villager with their own personality to bond and relate to.
