Ekko revealed that these scenes in part pay homage to Vinterberg's daughter Ida. They showcase some of the classrooms in which Ida used to learn, as well as some of her classmates. The film is also dedicated to her.
The Actors Experimented Off Set
The concept of Another Round comes from the experiment the main characters perform. They monitor their BAC closely to see the nuances of its effect on their social and creative skills in and out of the workplace.
The Los Angeles Times revealed that Vinterberg had the actors try out this experiment off set in "booze camps." At first, the cast and crew weren't sure how helpful the work would be, but eventually, people could detect the small changes in the performers' behaviors with small amounts of alcohol, and of course with large amounts when Mikkelsen says, "we stopped listening to anyone, especially the director!"
Mads Mikkelsen Used To Drive Home One Of The Film's Musicians
Mads Mikkelsen has appeared in several highly-rated films before Another Round. Fans might say his experience is apparent in the emotional performance showcased in the film. During the ending scene which wraps up his character's arc, a song plays: "What a Life," by Scarlet Pleasure.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Mikkelsen has a history with Scarlet Pleasure frontman Emil Goll. When Goll and Mikkelsen's daughter were young, Mikkelsen drove an inebriated Goll home. Coincidentally, he ended up singing in the band behind the song chosen for the finale.

MetroWest Daily News defined the Danish title of the film, Druk, to be a Danish term for binge drinking. The publication points out that maybe the American title is a "more celebratory version of the term." However, some audiences might feel that the original title is most appropriate
The Ship In The Finale Belongs To Royals
It is hard to argue that the closing sequence of Another Round isn't one of the most memorable scenes in the movie. As the cast breaks into a musical number, an impressive white ship with a yellow chimney is on display.
Wonderful Copenhagen revealed that the ship is well-known. It is called the Dannebrog and is owned by the Danish royal family.
Mads Mikkelsen Performs His Own Dancing
It is hard to argue Martin doesn't drive the story behind Another Round. His character comes together thanks to Mads Mikkelsen, who fans might not know used to be a trained dancer and gymnast. His ability becomes clear during the final sequence of the film.
The New York Times revealed Mikkelsen's "dancing days were over," before Another Round, but that the movie brought him back to the dancefloor. Stunt doubles weren't used for the sequence, and many viewers might say it's hard to tell Mikkelsen was out of practice.
