Dan Levy, recently seen in London with Paul Rudd, is now speculated to play a character role in Schitt's Creek, has not yet been confirmed as being involved with the project. However, there are a variety of choice roles from the Ant-Man comics that could suit him well. While a number of classic Ant-Man ing characters and antagonists like Ultron and the Power Broker have been used in other Marvel projects, the time travel and multiverse elements key to Marvel's Phase 4 open possibilities as to whom Levy could portray.
With time travel available as a plot element, a younger version of a villainous scientist like Egghead (previously portrayed by Michael Cerveris in Kang the Conqueror already confirmed to appear however, the role of a scientist villain would swiftly be overshadowed - it seems like a waste to introduce such a villain only to have them then made swiftly irrelevant by such a heavy-hitting foe. This could suggest room for a multiversal ally, however - such as the "irredeemable" Ant-Man, former SHIELD agent Eric O'Grady, who stole the Ant-Man suit in the comics, planning to use it to steal, and to enrich himself.
While Eric O'Grady might be a hard sell as a leading hero of a film, he does make a lot of sense as a ing character. With SHIELD access and information, even from a different universe, he could access facilities or resources that the Pyms and Scott Lang could not - and would already be trained in personal defence. It appears that Loki. A variant Ant-Man, with different abilities and scruples than Scott Lang or Hank Pym, could help to overcome Kang's ability to anticipate future events. O'Grady is morally dubious at best in the comics, but has a heroic streak that could be very useful in a crunch if the Ant team knows how to bring it out.
There is some evidence that a broader Kang-fighting team - with some potentially villainous - could be in the plans for Quantumania. Actor Corey Stoll, who played the villainous Yellowjacket in 2015's Yellowjacket to the MCU could easily be a first step in collecting a villainous heist team already equipped with Pym Particle technology. O'Grady is sleazy and smarmy, but would fit such a team well - and, while not a scientist, pulling a capable Ant-Man from another universe has the potential to be a great advantage or a terrible mistake, an ambiguity that could really let Dan Levy shine in the picture.
Whether Dan Levy is actually going to appear in the new Ant-Man sequel, or whether he was in London on other matters and wanted to meet up with Paul Rudd - with whom he performed in 2013's ission - Levy would make a great addition to the MCU. If he is appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he would shine as O'Grady, or even as an original character created for the film. Whatever the case, if Levy isn't currently planned to appear in the MCU, he would be a choice actor for a future project.
