Marvel Studios is not hosting a for their live-action films at Ant-Man themed since the film comes out just a week after the convention.
The film is tracking at the box office for a $65 million opening weekend, a step down from most of Marvel's latest releases, which helps explain why there are seemingly more Ant-Man TV commercials than any prior Marvel Studios feature. And now, we also have a new set of stills from the finished film, the best looking ones yet.
Several dozen new photos emerged on MovieStillsDB, focusing on antagonist Corey Stoll, now the head of Pym Tech (new shot of that too) and of his Yellowjacket suit in action, big and small. Most interestingly are the new photos focusing on the ants themselves, of which early reviews indicated there are a lot of in the film.
Click through the categories to see each subset of Ant-Man photos, and we'll begin with the incredible VFX shots of micro Ant-Man, created thanks to the film's third unit which was dedicated entirely to macrophotography. Ant-Man is the first Marvel film to utilize three shooting units.
