When needing to save a life, Lifeline is Apex Legends to use. She is the best of the healers and her abilities will complement any team no matter the composition. Of course, her healing is her biggest strength but don't put it past her that it's all she does. She's more of a defensive character and can bring a valuable defensive aspect to the team with her ive and Ultimate abilities.

In talking about her defensive capabilities, we need to mention how small of a target she can be where enemy bullets can whiz right by her in the heat of battle making it difficult to hit her. This is very useful in both close and ranged battles. For example, her ive speed buff makes sniping her virtually impossible to touch and nearby, it can make it a pain to aim and land shots with her elusiveness. She might not be as quick as Bangalore when it comes to speed while getting shot, but it can be just enough to throw opponents off of the mark and get a quick retaliatory attack in.

Lifeline's Abilities in Apex Legends

Apex Legends Lifeline and Drone

With Lifeline, we have to start with her main ability which is the Combat Medic. Any player will wish they could revive their fallen teammates faster, especially when seeing that ring close in and their partner is right at the edge. It can be frightening to see that ring come in and knowing that reviving them will put both players in danger. Combat Medic Octane's ive as well. Pair her up with Wattson and watch both health and shields rise together making them almost unstoppable. Last but not least, her Ultimate called Care Package is exactly what it states, a care package will drop from the sky and deliver supplies leaning on the defensive side of the spectrum like body shields, helmets, syringes, and more.

Since Lifeline is any type of close-range weapon to goad other players into the shield. This also needs to be said that when reviving a player, face the direction of where the incoming fire is coming from as that is where the shield will spawn when reviving. This is helpful to know while in combat as well as the revives can come quickly and Lifeline players won't have to worry about taking in fire and a teammate can stand behind it, protected, and get a quick heal in before the next wave. Speaking about healing, when under fire, if the enemy is a far distance away, round a corner and quickly deploy the Drone and double up by popping a shield cell and get back into the battle quickly. A player might think they have the drop and rush in thinking health and shields are at a minimum but they'll be shocked when Lifeline comes back at them with full bars. The Care Package can serve another purpose during fighting where it can be used as a source of cover. The enemy might have the team pinned down and a care package is dropped and rushing to it can be a quick source of cover to move from one location to the other. It's a bonus as well if the package drops a purple body shield, then after taking shots, pick up the body shield and quickly get to the next cover having a full-body shield.
