Smartphones don't always display how much charge they have and that can leave one guessing as to when they're going to shut off, but for owners of the battery life before it is too late.
Apple often makes the news for new product announcements, updates to existing products and services, and occasionally, the hardware onboard a solid meter is less specific than an actual number.
Apple case of the iPhone X and everything which comes after, this is as easy as navigating to the control center to find out. From the top-right corner of the screen, swipe downward to reveal the battery charge as a percentage. For devices such as the iPad, seventh-generation iPod touch, second-generation iPhone SE, and the iPhone 8 and earlier, click on Settings, then Battery, and finally switch on Battery Percentage.
Keeping An iPhone Powered Up
For those acutely concerned with battery power, there is another option to moderate use and keep an eye on the numbers. When using the second-generation iPhone SE, iPhone 8 or earlier, 'Low Power Mode' will reduce energy consumption and continue to indicate the charge level as a percentage in the status bar, until the mode is turned off again. While this mode is active some functions may be slower while others will be suspended, so automatic ing and apps that would otherwise refresh in the background may not function the same until the setting is turned off.
Apple is a brand known for seeking an enjoyable experience, instead of being complacent with a utility-driven focus alone, so putting the power in the hands of the shopper is a reasonable move. Removing the clutter from the display while keeping options reserved for viewing the current battery level is a logical step toward a more minimalist display. With more complicated data on battery health available in the settings, s can still view its long-term condition without giving up the overall aesthetic of Apple phones.
