guest-starred on another Arrowverse show. It's culminated in an inter-woven universe where characters feel at home on not just their own show, but several others as well.

The most ambitious crossover event yet, Crisis on Infinite Earths, finished airing this past January, after beginning in December 2019. Not only did it consist of five parts, it also included the character of Black Lightning, confirming the show's existence in the Arrowverse. The crossover also featured cameos from several classic DC actors, including Ezra Miller, who plays the DCEU's Flash. However, despite its fun moments, Crisis on Infinite Earths also caused the death of Arrow hero Oliver Queen, paving the way for the show's series finale just two weeks later.

Now that his time as the Green Arrow is over, Stephen Amell is naming his favorite actor to work with during the intense crossovers. Unsurprisingly, Amell revealed it's The Flash's Grant Gustin, the crossover actor he's shared the most scenes with. Per ComicBook, Amell was speaking at a C2E2 this weekend, when a fan asked the question. Amell quickly answered, "Grant. For sure. I really really love and I really valued every opportunity I got to work with Grant." Amell also explained that his enjoyment of working with Gustin went beyond liking his company, saying, "I always felt like when I came out of a scene with Grant or a day of working with him I always felt like I became a little bit of a better actor."

Arrowverse Flash Arrow

Even with Green Arrow and the Canaries, it aired a backdoor pilot as Arrow's penultimate episode, but no decision has been made about it going to series. This is despite a recent pickup rumor suggesting otherwise.

Even if Stephen Amell is no longer a regular part of the Arrowverse, it's still interesting to hear his memories and takeaways from his time there. As the character who started it all, the Green Arrow, and by extension Amell, will always be considered part of the family. Plus, with Arrow done, The Flash is now the senior most show in the Arrowverse, making Gustin not only Amell's favorite actor to work with, but also the one to lead the multiverse into the future.
