The small town of Blue Valley has seen its fair share of drama since a squad of supervillains made it their home. Luckily, a group of teenagers on the road to becoming superheroes are there to stop them. However, just because there are several skilled - and superpowered - teens in town, that doesn't mean they could survive the events of a slasher flick.

If Stargirl's Blue Valley were the setting for a horror movie, the kids in town would have their work cut out for them. Some would likely think they could take on the masked killer on their own, while others wouldn't even notice a killer on the loose until it was too late. Just which Stargirl teenagers would live to see a sequel?

With the introduction of Eclipso and The Shade in Season 2 of Stargirl, the show veered into horror movie territory. Eclipso, after all, preyed on the darkest fears of those he encountered and exploited them. The murder mystery of Season 3 allows the audience to see just who would work best to unravel the mystery of a slasher flick killer though, giving the audience even more of a look into just what would happen to the Stargirl characters in a horror setting.

Henry King Sr. (Brainwave)

Brainwave of the Injustice Society in an underground cavern in Stargirl

The ISA villain known as Brainwave didn’t even survive the first season of the show, but in a horror movie, he would certainly be an interesting addition. Chances are, he would be the minor villain the heroes would have to contend with until the true villain was revealed.

Just as Brainwave met his end as a result of Wildcat’s claws in Stargirl, so too would he in a horror setting. Yolanda would likely be the one to turn Henry Sr. in for being up to no good, or fight back against him herself, wanting to protect his son, just as she did in the series.

Isaac Bowin

Isaac tries to play the magic fiddle in Stargirl

Though the characters in Stargirl live in a world with superpowers and supervillains, that doesn't mean they'd be equipped to deal with the culprit in a horror movie - especially since so many of the Stargirl characters, like Isaac, are inexperienced teenagers. This isn't like Marvel's Agents of SHIELD surviving a horror movie experience where the team is trained to expect danger around every corner.

Isaac is the least experienced of the characters when it comes to dealing with danger, and the one with a severe lack of a system. He would be easy pickings in a slasher flick. Though most of the characters in Stargirl have some sort of specialty weapon at their disposal, Isaac doesn't completely understand how to use his mother's magical fiddle, which means he wouldn't have a "super" way to defend himself either.

Cameron Mahkent

Cameron and Courtney talk on the bleachers at a football game in Stargirl

Courtney might think of Cameron as leading man material, but like Isaac, he doesn't have much experience with the "super" aspects of his small hometown. Even Courtney is able to get the jump on him when he taps her on the shoulder and surprises her.

Cameron, despite how nice he is to other people, is also often wrapped up in his own problems. He doesn't take kindly to Courtney repeatedly running out on their conversations when she receives emergency phone calls from friends and family. He likely wouldn't even believe there was actually a killer on the loose in town until it was too late - just as he doesn't realize his father was actually a villain.

Mike Dugan

Mike leans on the kitchen counter in Stargirl

One thing fans hated about Stargirl Season 1 was how underused Mike was. He's often left out of the heroic goings-on, but he has a deep desire to be part of the superhero team. As a result, he doesn't have the same knowledge of just how the bad guys work. Mike just wants to help - and strangely, that could be his downfall.

It doesn't take much for Cindy to surprise him and hold him hostage to get to his father and Courtney. While Mike is a smart kid, he might not be clever enough to outmaneuver a killer. He could make it a pretty good way into a horror movie, but it's unlikely he'd survive a threat without someone to help save him.

Larry Crock (Sportsmaster) and Paula Brooks (Tigress)

Sportsmaster and Tigress in Stargirl

Like Brainwave, Sportsmaster and Tigress are of the JSA. They are not, however, as committed to evil schemes as he is. Instead, a lot of their criminal activity is born from boredom and wanting what’s best for their daughter.

As a result, the two would go out of their way to protect their daughter in a slasher movie. Artemis would likely outlive them just because the two of them would go after the killer first, thinking they would have the upper hand.

Artemis Crock

Artemis walks through the cafeteria with some of her teammates in Stargirl

Artemis is one of the few Stargirl characters who could take on a horror movie villain in hand-to-hand combat and likely live to tell the tale. She would have to be caught completely unaware, and if she was in a slasher flick, that's the killer's specialty.

Artemis would absolutely put up a good fight for the audience. She would be overconfident in her abilities though, always thinking she was ahead of the game, but she would likely be playing checkers against a killer who was playing chess, thinking multiple steps ahead of her. Artemis wouldn't make it out of the first half of the movie, and her death would certainly inspire fear in her peers.

Cindy Burman (Shiv)

CIndy smiles as she tries to recruit a new teammate at school in Stargirl

Cindy might not be one of the most powerful of the Injustice Society in the Stargirl TV series, but she's definitely a mainstay in the comics. She's well on her way to becoming Courtney's nemesis in the show - unless of course, her experiences with Shade and Eclipso change her.

She would likely be one of the first characters suspected of being the killer if Stargirl were a horror movie. Cindy's had a pretty traumatic life, but she's also someone who isn't afraid to use violence to get what she wants, so the audience would suspect her as well, right up until the killer managed to get the better of her. Cindy would likely make it through most of the movie unscathed, but, like Artemis, she would be too cocky in the end.

Rick Tyler (Hourman)

Rick tries not to cry while wearing his dads hourglass necklace in Stargirl

Rick is likely the first of the new generation of Justice Society of America to meet his end in a horror movie. While he's a better fighter than Beth, for example, that doesn't give him an edge. He is absolutely the kind of team member who is going to protect the others from a killer, using the hourglass and charging into the situation to keep them safe.

In fact, he's often paired up with Beth in the show, which means he takes the brunt of the physical attacks while she tries to find another way to defuse the situation. That would translate to him dying to protect her in a horror movie.

Beth Chapel (Dr. Mid-Nite)

Beth sits on the stairs holding Chucks goggles in Stargirl

Rick dying for Beth would be heartbreaking, especially since she also likely wouldn't last through the events of a horror movie in the world of Stargirl - or at least, she likely wouldn't make it out of the first sequel.

Beth's intelligence would be what saves her. She would be the person to put the pieces together and narrow down the list of suspects, whether she had Dr. Mid-Nite's goggles to help her or not. Beth is much more observant than the rest of her friends, even if she's not as good at dodging punches.

Pat Dugan (STRIPE)

Pat Dugan is holding Courtney's cosmic staff in Stargirl.

Pat Dugan is one of the most noble parental figures in Stargirl. He’s also got a history of being in dangerous situations as Starman’s sidekick and as an advisor to Courtney’s new JSA. He would absolutely put himself in harm’s way before he let any of the kids in the JSA or ISA get hurt.

Like Larry and Paula, he would likely sacrifice himself for his family in a slasher flick. That’s especially true when considering what an impact it would have on Courtney. Courtney didn’t particularly like Pat when he and her mother first married and moved her to the middle of Nebraska. She’s grown to love him and learn from him, so his loss would hit her particularly hard.
