Assassin's Creed Infinity will be multiplayer, bringing a new dimension to the franchise. But whether online or solo playing there are key aspects of the franchise, fans expect to still see. One of these would be the little puzzles introduced in the new "reboot" - the Papyrus puzzles from Assassin's Creed Origins, followed by the similar Anigmata Ostraka puzzles spread out throughout Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
When solved, these provide additional perks to the player. But while there are quite a lot of Ainigmata Ostraka present in the game, not all of them are of the same difficulty level, with some providing riddles that need extra critical thinking and logic skills to solve.
Fatal Attraction
Fatal Attraction is one of the Ainigmata Ostraka present in Greece and can be found in the region of Kephallonia, on the small island of Ithaka near the ruins of Odysseus's Palace. Once the players have reached Odysseus's Palace, they need to kill the guard and find the tallest building on the North side. Once located, reach the building, and the tablet will be found on the roof.
The riddle points towards the North of Odysseus's palace to Eumaeus Pig Farm. At the entrance of the form, look towards the right to find a bloody goat. Inspect it to find the engravings. Upon solving this puzzle, players will be rewarded with +2% damage with swords and daggers engraving.
Hound Docked
Hound Dog is yet another Ainigmata Ostraka present in Greece and can be found near Megaris, where it will be in the Farm of Tripodiskos, near the center of the occupied forest. Adding such locations in the Assassin's Creed Odyssey has helped revitalize Greek mythology for a lot of players. There is only one building in the area and the riddle will be found on its roof.
Players will need to go to the beach located North of the location. There are a total of 4 ships docked, go to the second from the top where players can find a dog wandering around. Upon interacting with the dog, it will lead them to two small bones in a cross pattern. Inspecting it will award the players with the engraving. Solving this puzzle will reward a +2% crit chance.
Pressed For Time
Finger Tip can be found in the Southeastern corner of the Sacred Lands of Apollo outside of Kirrha, a small town located in the region of Phokis. Players can recognize the location from the site of Prometheus. The puzzle will be found in one of the tents, on the southwest side of the site. Look for a giant clay figurine.
Players will need to head West to the town of Kirrha in Pilgrim's Landing. After reaching the town, look for the leader's house towards the east. Walk past the house towards the south where an olive farm is located. Next to the basket of olives will be a red bowl, inspecting will award players with +2% elemental Resistance.
Finger Tip
Finger Tip can also be located in the region of Phokis, at the northwest corner of the Hill of the Sacred War, specifically at the Desphina Fort. Players can find the Ainigmata Ostraka at the fort's upper level towards the west side, near the statue towards the wall.
Players will need to head over to the Tomb of Tityos located in the valley of the Snake. The riddle can be a bit misleading as the statue's hand is neither mossy nor is it pointing, but by climbing on the hand of the statue, players can see North towards the Grand Mount Parnassos. The riddle will be solved once a small tent is located in a small flat area East of the mountain. Specifically near a tree that has no branches. Players will be rewarded with +2% damage with heavy weapons.
Red Scent
Red Scent is located in Lokris, where it can be found in the leader's house. Go to the back of the house where the tablet is kept on the dock which overlooks the sea.
Players will need to head over to the Red lake towards the South of Lokris. Finding the cave can be difficult in the water, have Ikaros scan to find a treasure chest which will also reveal a hole leading into the water. Enter the water and turn left where the cave is located. Interact with the bronze statue to solve the puzzle. Players will be rewarded with +4% damage with overpower abilities.
A Deal For Freedom
A Deal For Freedom is located on the Abantis Islands near the island of Euboea. There is a quarry on the island and the Ainigmata Ostraka can be found at the Oreos Quarry on the west side, which is a little elevated. Only some of the die-hard fans of the game know the locations of every Ainigmata Ostraka.
The riddle mentions a lot of things including being cast from Istiaia and a marbled beast. Look to the north from where the riddle is located and players can find the Bull of Oreos, it will be just on the road. Interact with the offerings next to it to solve it. Players will be rewarded with a +2% crit chance.
Theseus's Dreams
Theseus's Dream is located near the Abantis Islands on the island of Skyros. Look for the pirate hideout and go to the far end where a fort is located overlooking the large bay. The riddle will be found on a table. Solving all the Anigmata Ostraka is one of the most fun things to do in all of the Assassin's Creed games.
Players need to head to the sync point Hero's Fall which is located exactly on top of a giant arch. Go into the water and interact with a ruined ship, which will be just East of the arch. Players will be rewarded with +4% damage with overpower abilities.
Killer View
Killer View can be found in Attika or Athens, at the top of the Mt. Pentelikos Marble Quarry, specifically on the west side of the quarry. The puzzle will lead players to one of the most beautiful locations in all of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
The puzzle is located south of the temple in Areopagus, above the prison. There is an offering temple there, with two pillars on its side. Interact with it to solve the puzzle. Players will be rewarded with +2% Damage with spears and staffs.
Elbow Greece
Elbow Greece is located in Attika or Athens and can be found on the slab at the main entrance to the Altar of Love near the Abandoned Farmland. Finding all the Ainigmata Ostraka is something most players never discover.
Once players have reached the Statue of Prometheus, let the eagle lead them to the Oropos Heights in the Boeotia region, which will be north of the statue. It is recommended to do this during the night so that a lit campfire can be seen on top of a mountain. Head over there and interact with an item kept on the table near the fire. Players will be rewarded with a +1 second burning duration.
Blue Eyed Beauty
Blue Eyed Beauty can be found in the Pirate Island region, on the island of Seriphos, specifically on the southeast side where Aetios's house is located. The Ainigmata Ostraka will be on a table near the wall.
The lagoon mentioned in the riddle is Polydektes Lagoon, but the "hole" shouldn't be confused with a cave, it is actually the arch on the northeast side. Wait for daylight to shine through this arch, there is a small urn under the water, inspecting it will solve the puzzle. Players will be rewarded with a +2% crit chance while having low health.
