With new upgrades also came new micro-transactions in Assassins Creed Origins, though every item in the Helix store can be obtained in-game. Helix credits are the current in-game, out of gameplay currency that allows players to procure special and rare items to use while roaming the vast deserts in Assassins Creed Origins. The first and simplest method for acquiring the Unicorn is to purchase it in the store for 500 Helix credits if players don't want to spend too much time trying to get their hands on it through gameplay. Just enter the store, purchase the horse, then select it as the current skin for the mount in-game, and the next time players call their ride, the unicorn will be seen trotting toward Bayek across the golden sands.
The alternative methods for acquiring the Unicorn are completely up to RNG. Participating in the hippodrome rewards players with new mount skins, including the possibility of acquiring the Unicorn, so make sure to always come in first place. The Unicorn can also be acquired through Reda, a child merchant specializing in epic and legendary equipment, by accepting a quest from him. At some point in the game, Reda will ask players to steal back some items that were wrongfully taken from him, and the reward from the quest has a random opportunity to be the Unicorn mount. A YouTube content creator by the name of sixburn gaming was lucky enough to receive the Unicorn after completing the quest. Once again, this is not a guaranteed item, and the only way to assure a 100% success of acquisition is to purchase it directly from the Helix store.
