Ubisoft recently announced its second wave of DLC for protagonist of Assassin's Creed Odyssey is set to meet Eivor in Ubisoft's new Crossover Stories DLC. In the trailer for the expansion, Eivor mistakenly calls out to Randvi, a romanceable character in Valhalla who looks strikingly similar to one Spartan warrior. The woman turns to the camera, revealing herself to be none other than Kassandra, now equipped with a lore-accurate hidden blade.
Many fans are excited to see the Spartan in action once again; however, fans who may have not played may be wondering how a woman from ancient Greece is alive in the Middle Ages. This staff provides a ton of benefits to the , including immortality, and is a key item in the history and lore of Assassin's Creed.
Originally created by the ancient Isu race before humanity was created, the Staff of Hermes was ed on from legend to legend. Beginning from an Isu named Aletheia, she had transferred her consciousness into the staff using advanced Isu technology. After the fall of the Isu race, another Isu named Hermes Trismegistus claimed the treasure and used it to survive the Great Disaster that caused the deaths of millions of Isu. After thousands of years, Hermes met the Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who was Kassandra's biological father. Throughout the story of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Kassandra eventually meets her father, who es the staff from his hands to her own.

With the release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla's crossover stories, it looks like Kassandra is going to be a key player in the overall lore and stories of the series. The possibilities of these crossover stories are endless. Who knows, Ubisoft may decide to release some new DLC of her meeting a certain Renaissance-era assassin.
