A dataminer has discovered an unreleased Assassin's Creed Valhalla Forgotten Saga mode was recently released, and a new sci-fi armor set is apparently on the way too.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla takes players back to the Viking Age and casts them as Eivor, a noble warrior determined to expand their clan into England. The title features a number of real historical figures, including Viking leader Ivar the Boneless and Anglo-Saxon ruler Alfred the Great. Assassin's Creed Valhalla combines real events with Norse mythology, featuring legendary figures like Odin, Thor and Loki. Since launch the title has received multiple story expansions, like The Siege of Paris and Dawn of Ragnarok, alongside smaller pieces of paid DLC and free updates. Now a new piece of Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC will apparently let Eivor cosplay as Iron Man or a Stormtrooper.
As reported by Eurogamer, a dataminer and YouTuber named AndyReloads has apparently unveiled an unreleased Assassin's Creed Valhalla armor set. The Advanced Mechanicals set is very anachronistic, with its futuristic sci-fi designs standing out in the Viking Era time period. The armor's Cooper Alloy version seems like a clear nod to Iron Man, due to its red and gold coloration, while the white Iron Alloy variant is likely based on the Stormtroopers from Star Wars. The high-tech suit is even capable of firing a powerful energy beam from its chest, strengthening the Iron Man connection. The Advanced Mechanicals set will also include a chainsaw sword, a mechanical mount based on Horizon Zero Dawn and more.
While it's unclear how the Advanced Mechanicals set will be distributed, a free Assassin's Creed Valhalla Bifrost Bundle was released by Ubisoft back in June. This weapons are said to be chiseled from the same crystal used to build Asgard's rainbow bridge, giving each piece in the set a magnificent colorful shine. The Shimmering Shield and Iridescent Axe were given out for free for a limited time, though the more robust Advanced Mechanicals set will likely be sold to players instead.
While the set has not been officially revealed, the Advanced Mechanicals set seems to be a crossover between Assassin's Creed Valhalla and various other properties. The futuristic armor's two color palettes can turn Eivor into Iron Man or a Stormtrooper, and the set's robotic mount seems like a clear nod to the Horizon franchise. The set has not been officially unveiled, however, so for now this AndyReloads leak is a mere rumor.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia.
