The Seige of Paris DLC of 14 hours to complete, it does come along with its own set of achievements to unlock that are separate from the main game. In this case, players will need to pet the 4 cats scattered around the DLC.

Petting animals in video games has become a wild trend that developers have begun to capitalize on. Popular Twitter s such as CanYouPetTheDog are dedicated to confirming or denying if certain animals can be interacted with. It's a small feature that can go a long way in sucking players into its game world. So much so that Assassin's Creed Valhalla attached it to its achievement list.

For this challenge, the 4 cats are scattered in a variety of different locations within the city of Evreux. In order to interact with them, players will need to remove their hoods by holding down the D-pad and selecting the un-cloak option. The game will then allow players to pet the cats. Here is where players can find them all.

Every Cat Location in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Seige of Paris DLC

A map from Assassin's Creed Valhalla Of Paris
  • Cat Location #1: This cat can be found if the player warps over to the Evreux fast travel location. Jump down to the ground level and stand around for a bit. After a while, an orange cat will appear. Just approach it while not wearing a hood to pet it.
  • Cat Location #2: This cat is fairly close to the location of the first cat. Jump down from the warp point to the ground level but head down the stairs and walk into the market. Stand around a bit and a black and white striped cat will appear.
  • Cat Location #3: Fortunately, players won't have to go far again. Warp again to the Evreux fast travel location and head to the square. There will be a small platform with a wooden cross. Look towards the north and stand near this platform and eventually, a black and gray cat will make an appearance.
  • Cat Location #4: Head to the southern part of town to find a house nearby with some stained glass windows. There will be a house with an open window. Players can head inside to find a white cat with black and orange dots.

Interact with them all to unlock the 'Pat the Cats' achievement. The DLC itself only comes along with 9 achievements to collect. For cat lovers, this challenge alone might be the reason to jump back into Valhalla.
