ATEEZ is an eight-member K-Pop boy group under KQ Entertainment that is here to stay. Their music is flashy, and their performances are impeccable, bringing a consistent level of stage presence and energy that most groups can only dream of.
Their debut mini-album from 2018 is nothing to laugh at, but it serves as an impressive jumping-off point for where their soon-to-be signature style would go shortly after. ATEEZ's chemistry as a group shines in everything they do. That, combined with their well-known ability to command every stage they step foot on, has already led them to become the first K-Pop boy group to perform at Coachella in 2024 and the first K-Pop artist to perform at Morocco's Mawazine music festival that same year.
Their music speaks for itself, but a large portion of their discography feels incredibly underrated. The songs listed below are just 10 that I feel deserve much more appreciation among ATEEZ fans and K-Pop fans in general - and among those who simply enjoy good pop music.
10 DEEP DIVE
GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2 (2024)
Many of the songs on this list were, at the time of release, overshadowed by more popular tracks. "DEEP DIVE" had to compete with the effortlessly cool title track "Ice On My Teeth" and "Selfish Waltz," another synth-pop track to add to their collection that is arguably one of their best songs, so it's no wonder it got swept under the rug. With its haunting lyrics about growing accustomed to loneliness and references to actual events, particularly in the rap verses, "DEEP DIVE" immediately stands out to me as one of the group's most honest songs
The higher I go, the thinner the air gets
Like altitude sickness, even my companions fade away
A cold space where I face my innеr self
I’m smiling, but why does it look like I’m crying?
Likе shoddy construction, the lies I’ve built up, when will they crumble?
Hiding my anxiety, I hold my breath
Rapper Mingi delivers what might be my favorite of his verses in a long time, directly calling out the anxiety that forced him to take a hiatus in 2020, while Hongjoong acknowledges his crammed schedule that included attending two fashion shows in Paris directly after the first leg of their most recent world tour. I'm a sucker for lyrics, and this song checks all the boxes.
9 THANXX
ZERO : FEVER Part.1 (2020)
"THANXX" is the only title track on this list. While reviewing the group's catalog, there were certain title tracks that felt more widely recognized than others, but none felt more underrated than this. Like most music that was released in 2020, unfortunate timing could have something to do with its wider reception. ZERO : FEVER Part.1 is a great collection of seven tracks that couldn't have been led by a more appropriate song.

10 Essential K-Pop Albums Every Fan Should Listen To
Whether you're just getting into the genre or are a lifelong fan, these 10 essential albums are sure to deepen your love of K-Pop music.
The group was just starting to find their footing, and "THANXX" sees them question the authority that looms over their every move. It's a song that feels almost cocky in its delivery, something that I think ATEEZ does perfectly but not nearly enough. They detest common phrases like "Back in my day" and "You'll know when you get a little older" with youthful authenticity that lets listeners know right away they're a group who do things their own way.
8 Celebrate
ZERO : FEVER Part.2 (2021)
You'll notice from this list alone that ATEEZ is capable of sounding right at home in several different sounds. "Celebrate" is a B-side that accompanies the title track "Fireworks (I'm The One)," a steamy, powerful song whose music video alone could distract just about anyone from the rest of the mini-album that, in my opinion, houses some of their best songs.
ATEEZ is capable of sounding right at home in several different sounds.
The lyrics to "Celebrate" encourage anyone listening to celebrate the little things in life, including the things that make each one of us different. Every time they sing "Congratulations for being born as you are" in the chorus, I feel like I'm receiving the most motivational pep talk I could ever hope for. It's the type of song that's perfect to start your day with, and the music video is enough to put a smile on your face.
7 WE KNOW
THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL (2023)
"WE KNOW" off of their latest full-length album, THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL, is another that couldn't help but fade to the background among a track list that includes "Crazy Form," "ARRIBA," and four jaw-dropping subunit tracks that include a solo ballad by Jongho that gives me goosebumps every time he opens his mouth. This track feels perfect on the album that concludes their dystopian THE WORLD trilogy.
It could easily be found on the same album as "Guerrilla," filling out the unique atmosphere they've created within their albums that is worthy of its own feature film. Sirens permeate the background to make you feel like you're the one running for your life. The rap verses raise the stakes until the bridge brings everything in closer, only to burst at the seams in the final chorus.
6 Siren
GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1 (2024)
ATEEZ welcomed in a new era in 2024, shortly after their performances at Coachella. "WORK" introduced an entirely new sound, and its B-sides did much of the same. So far, their GOLDEN HOUR mini-albums haven't been their most cohesive, but they've shown sides of the group that continue to impress and hypnotize fans with their innate ability to master any sound.

5 K-Pop Acts Who Are Ready To Headline Coachella In 2026
With the bar set so high by the women of BLACKPINK, these K-Pop acts are prepared to take on the challenge of headlining Coachella in 2026.
"Siren" is the track off of GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1 that felt the most familiar to me. It has the same dystopian feeling as songs like "Sector 1" or "Outlaw," the latter being another underrated song that almost made this list, while also welcoming in a raw power that elevates their previous releases. Mingi delivers another of my personal favorite verses of his, while the chanting chorus feels made to be performed in stadiums by their fans who have more than proved themselves capable of matching the group's energy.
5 AURORA
TREASURE EP.3 : One To All (2019)
The group's 2019 mini-album, TREASURE EP.3 : One To All, was the one that saw them achieve their first music show win with "Wave," a song that is consistently appreciated by the and played on every tour to constant excitement from the audience. I love "Wave" as much as the next person... well, maybe not as much. It's a fun, summery song that is understandably a favorite, but my loyalties lie with "AURORA."
ATEEZ doesn't have any other song like "AURORA."
ATEEZ doesn't have any other song like "AURORA." Its dreamy instrumental builds to an even dreamier chorus accompanied by beautiful falsetto from the group's vocalists. Everything from the scaled-back vocal delivery to Hongjoong and Mingi's more gentle rap verses feel unique to just this one song, making it a spectacle with every listen and every viewing of its performance video that each K-Pop fan needs to hear at least once.
4 TO THE BEAT
ZERO : FEVER Part.1 (2020)
Don't let the silly music video fool you. "TO THE BEAT" is one of ATEEZ's most confident songs that borders right on the line between confidence and cockiness, something I always appreciate in K-Pop from groups like BTS who know their worth and aren't afraid to let you know.
Now the excitement is going up endlessly, everything exploded (Exploded)
But why do you have a problem? Are you offended? (Sorry!)
It’s the inferiority complex, we're already on another level
No matter how much you try, we will win it all
I'm just now realizing that I've somehow included my three favorite Mingi rap verses on this list, and I'm not quite sure how that happened. If I had to pick a favorite, it'd definitely be his verse in "TO THE BEAT," especially when it's performed live, and you can visibly see his confidence grow as it goes on. Hongjoong's verse that starts the song drops you right into its energy, calling out those who try to copy them with unmerciful honesty. Overall, this song continues to be one of their strongest, and one I hope they emulate in a future release.
3 WDIG (Where Do I Go)
THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT (2022)
"WDIG (Where Do I Go)" is a song that I didn't come to fully appreciate until sometime last year. It's another that was almost immediately brushed aside by both fans and ATEEZ in favor of its more well-known counterparts "Guerrilla," "Cyberpunk," and "New World." In all fairness, it never really stood a chance, but now it's one of my three favorites from this mini-album. It's also one that I feel like the only fan in the world of, so we need to change that.
This mini-album deserves to be appreciated for all of its tracks and the atmosphere they create.
Out of the six songs from THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT, "WDIG (Where Do I Go)" is the only one that's never been performed live, which feels like a crime to a certain degree. Wooyoung, Jongho, and San's vocal delivery in the pre-choruses were what ultimately pulled me in. The quiet devastation in their voices juxtaposes with the song's overall gritty sound to provide a balance that never feels out of place. This mini-album deserves to be appreciated for all of its tracks and the atmosphere they create altogether.
2 White Love
Season Songs (2021)
ATEEZ's most underrated project is Season Songs, a special mini-album of three tracks that each emulates the feeling of a different season or holiday. "Be My Lover" is the perfect song for spring and summer that features Kim Jong Kook. "The Black Cat Nero" is a K-Pop cover of an Italian children's song that was covered by Turbo, a duo featuring Kim Jong Kook, and then covered by ATEEZ with a new sound perfect for your Halloween playlist.

10 K-Pop Artists You Need To See On Tour In 2025
K-Pop is all about the performances, so why not find some time this year to see your favorite K-Pop artists on tour? Here are our recommendations.
"White Love" is the winter song on this album, a sweet song that invites you to compare love to pure white snow and promises to love you long after it's all melted. It features every member giving their most gorgeous vocal delivery with the shimmering chorus and Jongho's voice being the cherry on top of the sweetest cake you'll ever eat.
1 Don't Stop
Don't Stop Single Album (2022)
To my knowledge, there are some ATEEZ fans who don't even know this song exists. "Don't Stop" was a special single released through UNIVERSE Music, an original music content project that released songs from artists like THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, and Kep1er. In January 2023, all the singles released through this company disappeared, leaving fans in shambles until they were re-ed weeks later.
As soon as I watched the "Don't Stop" music video for the first time, it became my favorite video of theirs. The video doesn't feature any choreography, just clips of the that connect to form their most cohesive plot yet. It's a loud song that transitions between more grating instrumentals and a piano-driven sound in the second verse. I don't think they have many songs like this, and they for sure don't have any music videos like it. If you get nothing else out of this, I hope you get to hear ATEEZ's "Don't Stop" for the first time.
