The fast-paced action and meaningful moments that comprise Attack on Titan are endless fun to rewatch. The characters of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin grow throughout the series, and it is nice to rewatch the moments that made them the characters we know today. Even the villains and side characters have scenes that flesh them out as full-fledged of the cast.

From run-ins with serial killers to almost-romantic talks in fields of flowers, Attack on Titan has many scenes that fans love to rewatch and discuss, especially in hindsight from the heavy themes of season 4.

When The Beast Titan Talked

The Beast Titan is established as a force to be reckoned with, hurling giant boulders at the Survey Corps as they prepare to attack. It was also established throughout the series that the Titans can't talk. However, when the Beast Titan corners Mike Zacharias in a forest thicket, he starts talking in a slow, rumbling, methodical manner, terrifying both Mike and the audience.

Although it could be considered one of Attack on Titan's few filler episodes, this scene is important and rewatchable because, at first, it seems that the Beast Titan comes from a primitive society, having never seen technology like the 3D gear before. However, after finishing the series, the audience sees the Beast Titan through a different lens; he is actually impressed that the primitive Paradis humans built something that can stand up to the Titans.

When Mikasa Saved A Town By Killing A Titan

In one of her most incredible moments from the first season, Mikasa saves a massive crowd of citizens by killing a Titan mere inches away from them. She slices the Titan's neck and looks at the crowd in horror as they are unable to evacuate due to an arrogant trader blocking the exit with a cart.

This scene highlights Mikasa's fighting spirit and reminds audiences that she is very comionate at heart despite her tough exterior. The scene is endlessly rewatchable for Mikasa's epic action moves, but the best moment is Mikasa's cold delivery of the line "what kind of jokes do corpses tell?" This moment, among others, cements Mikasa as one of the most likable characters in Attack on Titan.

When Sasha Ate A Potato

Appearing in almost every fan-favorite montage of the show, Sasha's adorable introduction cements her as a favorite character from her very first moments. Sasha is a gluttonous girl who adores food and will go feral if her food is taken from her, leading to hilarious moments such as when she stands up to the terrifying squad leader while he yells at her.

Sasha's season 4 fate makes fans want to rewatch her early moments even more to truly appreciate her character and make the most of the good times. This scene, in particular, is a fun memory and a different type of introduction to a character than fans had seen before in the anime.

When Levi Beat Up Eren

Captain Levi is one of the most popular characters in the show and receives a bigger role as the seasons go on, but this moment when he beats Eren up to show he is not dangerous is one of his most iconic scenes. Eren is an angry and strong-willed character, but Levi shows the council that Eren is not a danger to humans by kicking his face and holding him up by the hair.

In hindsight of Eren's switch from hero to villain, it is endless fun to watch him get kicked, especially by fan-favorite Levi. As well, this moment is rewatchable for the high political conflict that made the early seasons so tense.

When Levi Fled From Kenny

Kenny Ackerman is the coolest villain to appear in Attack on Titan, having raised Levi into the tragic hero that he is today. However, Levi and Kenny go at each other's throats when Kenny suddenly reappears, and a fast-paced, fun action scene ensues. This scene adds to Levi's tragic story arc, but it also creates a fun diversion from the Titan conflict, showing that humans can also be villains in this story.

The personal drama is interesting, but what makes this scene rewatchable is the incredible animation, as well as Levi's anger and fear practically pouring through the screen.

When The Female Titan Took On The Survey Corps

The mystery around who this Titan is continues throughout season 1, and the Survey Corps' attempts to capture her are some of the best action scenes in the anime. The surprises and twists in the fight make the whole experience enjoyable, and seeing characters fight for their lives raises the stakes.

Although this scene might be sad due to some characters dying, the fast-paced action and great animation are endlessly rewatchable and showcases the Survey Corps at their absolute best.

When Eren Took Control Of The Smiling Titan

Eren from Attack on Titan defends Mikasa and punches the Smiling Titan on the hand, standing in a flower field

The Smiling Titan was Eren's main villain from the very beginning of the show, having eaten his mother right in front of him. In this scene, Eren awakens a power that enables him to control other Titans, causing a barrage of Titans to overwhelm and devour the Smiling Titan. Eren's protection of Mikasa and his desperation to win combine to create a very memorable moment.

This scene is rewatchable for the final confrontation with the Smiling Titan, especially in hindsight of the Titan's identity reveal. Fans of Eren and Mikasa's relationship also enjoy rewatching this scene, as the two share a moment surrounded by flowers, Mikasa even blushing as she faces Eren for what they think is the last time.

When Eren Became The Attack Titan

In one of their first real expeditions to kill Titans, Eren is actually swallowed by a Titan, creating a fake-out death that shocked fans when the episode was released. The supposed death was a fascinating moment, as it suggested to anime fans that anyone, including the main character, could die at any time. However, Eren turns into the Attack Titan, and all is well.

The ensuing rampage that Eren goes on leads to him saving both Armin and Mikasa and creates a fun action sequence with lots of great moments that are rewatchable such as Eren stomping on several Titans' heads and screaming.

When Eren Gave Mikasa His Scarf

After her family were killed, Mikasa is kidnapped, but she ends up killing her kidnappers when Eren jumps in to rescue her. Feeling despondent and alone, Mikasa is comforted by Eren, who wraps his scarf around her neck and asks her to come home with him.

This scene contains a lot of heart and shows that even the angry Eren and stoic Mikasa are capable of comion. The scene is rewatchable for its adorable characters, change of pace from the fast action scenes, and meaningful dialogue such as "our home."

When The Characters Finally Saw The Sea

Having found a way to deal with the Titans, the characters escape the walls and venture out towards the sea. This is the first time that the Survey Corps has seen the sea. It is especially a meaningful moment for Armin, who has been dreaming of this day since he received his grandpa's book about the outside world.

The scene is fun and about as close to a beach episode as Attack on Titan will probably ever get. Seeing the Survey Corps smile for once is endless fun, despite Eren's attempts to bring them back to reality. It is also really cute to see Hange, one of the smartest characters in Attack on Titan, geek out over shells and new sealife she has never seen before.
