About Brian Colucci

Brian is first and foremost a nerd in every way shape and form. He likes to compare himself to a black hole, consuming any and every form of entertainment unlucky enough to get caught in his gravitational pull. It's not uncommon on any given day for him to read a couple comics, watch a few movies (inside and out of the theater), catch up on his ever growing but never depleting streaming queue, challenge himself with a few good video games, and of course, write his heart out. He spends every waking moment dreaming up interesting and intriguing concepts and ideas that will hopefully one day inspire and entertain anyone looking for an escape from their daily lives.

Graduating from Full Sail University, Brian currently lives and works in New York City and lives for the day when all he has to do is wake up and create something unique and new for people to enjoy.

Author Details

Based out of Queens, NY, Brian is a writer and filmmaker that proudly acts as the steward of everything pop culture in his social and professional circles. If there's a comic to be read, movie to be watched, game to be played, music to be listened to, or story to be written, Brian will be there to suit everyone's nerdy needs.

Industry Focus

Brian has been writing at Screen Rant for a few years now where he loves highlighting of the nerd community in fanart and cosplay articles that spotlight creative talents who deserve recognition. Getting the opportunity to represent SR at the annual New York Comic Con, Brian also works in the field of AV and filmmaking, while writing movie reviews at Back to the Picture.

Favorite Media

Brian is at heart a DC Comics over Marvel guy, a Batman over Superman nerd, a Nintendo over Sega man, and a fan of anything and everything nerdy. Some favorites of his in no particular order or medium: Batman, Moon Knight, Green Lantern, Spider-Man, Kingdom Hearts, Christopher Nolan, Back to the Future, Lost, Spy X Family, The Promised Neverland, Dragon Ball, and much much more.
