About Caitlin Chappell

Caitlin Sinclair Chappell is a writer and editor in Los Angeles, CA. What started as a love for comics and film turned into a career shortly after graduating with honors from Lewis & Clark College. She published her first comic, “Negative Realm,” in Negative Space Comics Anthology and was a finalist in their Women’s Comic Book Writing Competition for the first issue of Epitaph. She also read her short story “Imperfect Hands, Impossible Monsters” at the 2021 National Queer Arts Festival.

Chappell is a featured writer in Cosmic Cow Zine’s Oddyssey, a GALECA associated critic and journalist, and a guidebook and comic writer for From the Edge of Hope, a Pacific Rim charity zine. Her bylines include Screen Rant, CBR, Anime Herald, and Women Write About Comics. She edits for comic writer Cameron Poletti and is a judge for NYC Midnight. Her work as a localization writer has reached millions with Pocket FM.

DC Bombshells, Lady Killer, Snotgirl, Crowded, and Sex Criminals are some of Caitlin's favorite comic series. Alongside comics, she keeps up to date on several manga series, including One Piece, Zom 100, Witch hat Atelier, Chainsaw Man, and Spy x Family. She also watches anime, including Apothecary Diaries and Demon Slayer.
