He fell in love with movies at the age of six after watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and his obsession with it turned him into a walking Middle-earth encyclopedia. Apart from the films themselves, the behind-the-scenes from The Lord of the Rings made a significant impact on Grant. Seeing the work that went into building a cinematic masterpiece fascinated him and fueled his desire to one day be a filmmaker.
