About Ilana Zahava Abusch

Ilana Zahava Abusch is a feature writer for Screen Rant, as well as a playwright and screenwriter, with a lifelong love of all things nerdy. A recent college graduate, Ilana has loved movies since her childhood, when her grandfather would have her over for “Bad Food, Good Movie Weekends” - which were full of lots of ice cream and introductions to many iconic film series like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more. After falling in love with Marvel and DC, she brought superheroes to the stage with her play Maverick. After discovering a ion for the medium of television, in addition to consuming it at record speed, she began to write it - starting with her web series pilot Immaculate.
