Author Details
Jordan Lemons is an Anime Writer at ScreenRant with a background in Digital and Print Journalism and English Literature. She started out in gaming journalism originally, covering some of her favorite games like anything HoYoverse, Wuthering Waves, and Stardew Valley for the last few years, but now, after switching gears, she’s ready to dive into another hyperfixation by returning to anime.
Favorite Media
As a bookworm, Jordan usually reads manga before engaging in any anime, and her preferred genre of choice is Shōnen and Sports. Her favorites include One Piece, Naruto, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Zatch Bell!, Black Clover, Haikyuu!!, Ace of Diamond, Medalist, and many more. She has a terrible habit of rereading her favorites before starting new ones, so her To-Be-Read list is always full.
Anime is better for multi-tasking though, making it easier for Jordan to complete her dailies in Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves, and Infinity Nikki while watching the latest hits.
Industry Focus
Much of Jordan's experience as a contributing writer has been dedicated to gaming journalism since 2022. Now that her focus has turned to anime, her beats specialize in classic and Shōnen anime, popular manhwa, and rising donghua. As the industry evolves, she prioritizes accuracy and well-founded research when covering each new topic she writes.
