About Mia Pidlaoan
Mia Pidlaoan (Mee-yah Pid-lao-ahn) is a list writer for Screen Rant. She graduated from NIU with a BA in English in 2019 and is currently pursuing her master's in English with ASU. Her specialties lie in nonfiction and poetry. She also published work in some literary magazines. Pidlaoan has been writing since she was a little girl, often skipping recess to write stories. As she grew up, she burned through dozens of YA Fiction novels, further fostering her love for literature. In addition, she's also been watching anime since she was young; her favorite anime growing up was Shugo Chara! Fun fact: she based her entire middle school personality on Taiga from Toradora. Her favorite movie is Spirited Away, and her comfort TV show is New Girl. One TV show she watched religiously as a teenager was Teen Wolf.
