Paul Bettany will be back for more galaxy saving in the still untitled higher stakes and emotional deaths - its direct sequel coming out in 2019 still remains to be a big mystery.
Expectedly, whatever goes down in Infinity War will have a ripple effect in its follow-up. So it is understandable that Marvel Studios is keeping things on the down-low with regard to any details about Avengers 4. But in the midst of the guessing game for the film's narrative and possible returning cast , Bettany seems to have confirmed his involvement in the MCU Phase 3 capper.
In a new interview with an epic scale production like Infinity War. And while doing so, he has implied that the impressive work that they are doing will continue in Avengers 4:
Yes, it really did. It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s f***ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It was just massive. It’s massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast , you’re like, “How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!”
Among all the superheroes going face to face against Thanos, Vision is arguably the one who is the most susceptible to danger or even death. The Mind gem - which is one of the six Infinity Stones that the Mad Titan is after - is embedded on the droid's forehead and the thing that gives him life. So in order for the purple alien to complete his mission and fully utilize the Infinity Gauntlet, he needs to retrieve the gem from Vision's forehead. And while Bettany has previously said that his character could potentially function without it, it is unknown just how alive he would be if he does not have the stone.
Aside from Bettany, Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff in the famed franchise, is also reportedly going to survive Thanos' initial onslaught in Infinity War. The spy is rumored to be back in the thick of things for Avengers 4 after a casting call presumed to be for her body-double recently emerged online.
Principal photography for Avengers 4 has already the Yakuza supposedly having an involvement in the much-anticipated epic blockbuster.
