After all, Thunderbolts* showed how utterly powerful Sentry is. He made quick work of the entire Thunderbolts team, later turning into his dark persona, the Void, who nearly engulfed all of New York City in his shadows. Avengers: Doomsday's story, ranked by how much of a chance they stand against Sentry.
10 Mister Fantastic
Played By Pedro Pascal
First up is Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards. Mister Fantastic's elastic powers have been shown briefly in The Fantastic Four: First Steps' trailers. That power would allow Reed to keep Sentry busy for a moment. That is all Mister Fantastic could directly do against him, as he is not powerful enough to make a dent in the Superman-like character.
His elastic powers could allow Reed to distract Sentry long enough to be able to work out a way to defeat him.
However, Reed Richards is more than just his superpowers. Mister Fantastic's best trait is his genius-level intellect. His elastic powers could allow Reed to distract Sentry long enough to be able to work out a way to defeat him. That said, Sentry could be just too powerful and fast to give Reed time to think.
9 Human Torch
Played By Joseph Quinn
Johnny Storm could take the fight against Lewis Pullman's Sentry to a different level. Like Sentry, the Human Torch can also fly. A battle between the two could take place at incredibly high speeds around the world. Johnny Storm could likely generate enough heat to hurt Sentry.
However, given how he was depicted in Thunderbolts*, Sentry's both sides would likely help him deal with the Marvel hero. The Void easily turned people into shadows and preyed on their insecurities. A showboating character like Johnny does not let his demons come out, but the Void could force them to. That, allied to Sentry's strength, should be enough for Johnny.
8 Invisible Woman
Played By Vanessa Kirby
Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm, if she is anything like the character in the comics, should be the most powerful member of the MCU's Fantastic Four. Marvel has shown snippets of her powers in the film's trailers, with Sue slightly turning invisible and creating force fields to protect herself and others.
Depending on his age in Avengers: Doomsday, Sue Storm and Reed Richards' son, Franklin, could take out Sentry by himself.
Sue's best use against Sentry would be as someone who could contain him. Her powers would allow her to keep dodging Sentry and forcing him to stay put. However, I believe that despite her immense power, Sue would only be able to delay the inevitable. She could even find a way to hurt Sentry, but that is as far as she gets.
7 Gambit
Played By Channing Tatum
Deadpool & Wolverine featured the R-rated debut of Channing Tatum's Gambit. The X-Men hero killed several characters with his power to imbue objects with kinetic energy, generating explosions at will. While Gambit did not directly fight anyone incredibly powerful, he is not afraid of killing and would do what's necessary to win.
Marvel Studios' animated X-Men '97 showed just how powerful Gambit could be. As a last resort, he used his powers on himself and sacrificed his life to take down the Tri-Headed Sentinel. I believe Tatum's Gambit could do the same thing to take down Sentry. However, Sentry's impenetrable skin might resist a blast that large.
6 Shang-Chi
Played By Simu Liu
Simu Liu's Shang-Chi has enormous power through the Ten Rings. That should allow him to go toe to toe against Sentry, being able to hurt him in a direct fight. With the added fact that Shang-Chi is one of the best hand-to-hand fighters in the MCU — if not the best — his fight with Sentry could be interesting.
The problem here is the Void side of Lewis Pullman's character. Shang-Chi has a painful past due to his family's history, and the Void could prey on that. Plus, it is unknown whether the Ten Rings would allow the hero to escape being sent to the Void's shame rooms.
5 Magneto
Played By Ian McKellen
Magneto opens the top five with a worthy challenge for the MCU's Sentry. The X-Men franchise villain has shown his impressive feats of power throughout the years. Magneto is an Omega-level mutant, which means he is one of the most powerful characters to come from the Marvel universe.
That puts him on the same level as what we saw from Lewis Pullman's Sentry on Thunderbolts*. Magneto can revert the polarity of the Earth and other impressive feats. He has a decent shot at being able to take Sentry down. However, given how Ian McKellen's version of the character is now older and Sentry is in peak shape, the younger character has an advantage.
4 Charles Xavier
Played By Patrick Stewart
While Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier will also be older in Avengers: Doomsday, I believe he has a better shot at defeating Sentry than McKellen's Magneto. The way Professor X would fight the Thunderbolts* character would be very different, though. While Magneto could take Sentry on physically, Charles would take a different approach.
When watching Thunderbolts*, I was surprised by how the Void was defeated. Instead of a big fight at the end of the MCU movie, the Thunderbolts managed to save Bob from inside his mind. Well, Charles Xavier is Marvel's most powerful telepath. That means he could reason with Bob and stop Sentry/The Void.
3 Loki
Played By Tom Hiddleston
Tom Hiddleston's Loki has been one of the MCU's most powerful characters from the start. He was the main villain of the franchise's first Avengers movie, after all. Loki's magic is extremely powerful, and the hero has used it in many creative ways over the years. He is also a master at being unpredictable.
Adding to the character's skills is his latest position. At the end of Loki season 2, Hiddleston's Marvel hero becomes the protector of the multiverse. What this means is that Loki has received the biggest power boost he could hope to get. That makes me think he could defeat Sentry, as could the final two characters.
2 Thor
Played By Chris Hemsworth
While Loki's new multiverse role might have him as an extremely powerful character, I think there are two confirmed players for Avengers: Doomsday that would fare better in a direct fight against Sentry. Without having to use manipulation or any form of subterfuge, Chris Hemsworth's Thor could just be too powerful for Sentry to take on.

Chris Hemsworth Teased Thor’s Death 3 Years Ago & I’m Even More Sure He Dies In Avengers: Doomsday After His New MCU Comments
Chris Hemsworth's worrying new Thor comments echo his death tease from 3 years ago, convincing me that Thor will likely die in Avengers: Doomsday.
Sure, Thunderbolts* made Lewis Pullman's MCU character incredibly powerful. However, he never faced anyone close to Thor's level. The God of Thunder came close to killing Thanos once before beheading him in Avengers: Endgame. Thor has taken the full power of a star and lived. He does not need Mjolnir anymore to control thunder and more. Thor has also beat Sentry more times in the comics.
1 Doctor Doom
Played By Robert Downey, Jr.
Finally, Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom ends the list. As the main villain of the MCU's Multiverse Saga, Doctor Doom has to be the most powerful character of Avengers: Doomsday. In the comics, the villain is known for combining advanced technology with magic, making himself extremely powerful.

The same could hold true for the MCU version of Doctor Doom. That way, even if Doctor Doom is not physically stronger than Sentry, his genius-level intellect could lead to the villain crafting a plan based on his vast toolkit to take down Lewis Pullman's MCU character. Doctor Doom could also easily exploit the Void and use it in his favor, dooming all Avengers: Doomsday characters.
