Fitting for a villain who revels in chaos and destruction, Josh Brolin had a blast filming his scenes as Thanos for next year's Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters this fall. Seeing as the third Avengers adventure unites the most powerful heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's only natural that their opponent will be one of the most powerful beings in the entire MCU.
Infinity War will see Brolin return as the Mad Titan Thanos, following his brief appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy and credits scene appearances in the first two Avengers movies. When he does, the Mad Titan will be ed by his equally vicious "children", aka. The Black Order, as they rampage across the universe and unleash their fury upon the Earth. With filming now done on Infinity War, Brolin and a number of other actors have moved on to Avengers 4. Now, press is starting to pick up a bit for next year's epic team-up movie.

EW spoke with Brolin about his role as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and what it was like playing the character, this time around. Brolin, for his part, indicated that he had a blast during production:
“I love doing Avengers, it’s maybe the most fun I’ve ever had. I just saw a little snippet of it, and it was amazing. The cutting-edge technology of what they’re doing — what I’ve seen is absolutely mind-blowing. When I saw it on screen, it was me, but also not like me. It’s really strange.”
As Brolin states, much of his work as Thanos will be brought to life via CGI. For the role, Brolin donned a motion-capture suit in order to translate his performance to the screen. In doing so, he was able to bring the massive and powerful character to life. Of course, Brolin has bulked up quite a bit all the same, thanks to his role in Avengers 4.
Brolin wasn't the only one having fun on set. Bautista has revealed that the chemistry between Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Pratt (as Tony Stark and Star-Lord, respectively) was something special to behold. It should likewise be all the more to finally see Brolin unleash the full might of Thanos when Infinity War gets underway.
