Tom Holland picks the demise of Tom Hiddleston's Loki as the one because of his Spider-Sense trying to fight the inevitable. Meanwhile, writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely it that part of it was also to draw out that powerful scene between Tony Stark and his pseudo-son. Regardless, the extended scene has quickly become an iconic movie moment.

That said, Holland has chosen Loki's less theatrical and just straight-up horrifying death as the Infinity War death that really got to him. Capped off by a grieving Thor clutching his brother's body, there was barely enough time for people to come to with what just happened. And besides the God of Thunder referencing the God of Mischief's death during his initial interaction with the Guardians of the Galaxy, there was no other mention of it all throughout the movie.

Appearing over the weekend at Comialooza (via ComicBook), Holland spoke about the multiple deaths in Infinity War and picked the one that had him the most heartbroken- surprisingly choosing the death of Loki at the beginning of the film."Yeah, I honestly didn’t really know much at all which is quite fun because, like you guys, I'm a big fan of these movies so being able to go to the theater and enjoy it as a fan because I knew nothing about it was great, you know? Tom Hiddleston at the beginning? Heartbreaking. That killed me," he said. Unfortunately, Loki and Peter Parker weren't able to share the screen together, but the two British actors spent a significant amount of time together during the movie's press tour where they probably bonded.

Loki's future in the MCU is a bit trickier to decipher considering that his death wasn't part of the galactic genocide that Thanos ensued by the end of Infinity War. His was slowly choked to death by the Mad Titan during his last-ditch effort to assassinate the villain. And while Thanos seemed to have laminated that his death will stick around - promising that there will be no resurrections this time, it's difficult to think that the God of Mischief will be so dumb to try and kill the powerful villain, who's in possession of two Infinity Stones, just with his dagger.

Whether or not Loki's death will be permanent, Hiddleston is still expected to make an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to happen.
