Though Storm is recruited to the team after Captain America realizes they need the mutant representation, she is an ultra-powerful hero worthy of being on or even leading any team she chooses.

Though Storm has been an Avenger previously, her stint on the team was cut short during the Avengers vs. X-Men event. With Ororo long revered as one of the most powerful X-Men and certainly one of their greatest leaders over the years, her being on Marvel’s premier team is only natural and well-earned. Receiving a revitalized and deserved spotlight again in the pages of Marvel Comics, Storm levels up not only by reing the Avengers but by finally getting a new ongoing solo series by Murewa Ayodele and Lucas Werneck.

Though Storm is recruited to the team after Captain America realizes they need the mutant representation, she is an ultra-powerful hero worthy of being on or even leading any team she chooses. With the extremely formidable Hyperion looking to be Earth’s mightiest heroes’ next big bad, they’re going to need Ororo and her godlike abilities on their side. Although she s because of the Avengers recognizing that they need to be more inclusive in their lineup, Storm has more than earned her spot on the roster by being one of the X-Men's, and Marvel’s, mightiest mutants and heroes overall.
