In The Avengers #24 by Jed MacKay and Farid Karami, the Avengers are backed into a corner as Kang's fleet prepares to kill hundreds of innocent people. In a last-ditch effort to stop this, Vision “accelerates his subjective time experience” to run simulations for what he experiences as weeks.

By speeding up his internal clock, Vision is able to form a plan that rescues everyone. Thinking this quickly within such a short span of time is usually a power attributed to the fastest speedsters, such as DC's Flash. Thus, the Avengers now have access to one of the Flash's most useful powers thanks to Vision.

The Flash may be known for running at incredible speeds, but he's the Fastest Man Alive in more ways than one. Because he's capable of moving so quickly in a physical sense, his ability to process information is also accelerated to keep up with his pace, which means he can experience a month's worth of thought within a second. He showcases this skill in The Brave and the Bold #8 by Mark Waid and George Pérez, in which two children to save when an experiment with the Doom Patrol goes awry.

A second later, Flash refuses and saves both kids using a clever plan he seems to have devised on the spot, but he later its that it had taken a relative month to reach that decision. He can experience weeks of deliberation in the blink of an eye, which suggests that the Flash never truly acts on impulse.
