After discovering how fun parkour can be in unique accessories, abilities, and armor. To that end, I uncovered some of the best-in-slot parkour-based equipment, as well as which attributes are most useful. This build kicks online in a major way once you reach about level 10, and is the most fun in both Shatterscarp and Galawain's Tusks due to the terrain. A few parkour items are available early on, with better options available later.
This build is great for both combat and exploration, and features the Power Jump and Power Slide abilities. It also incorporates one-handed melee weapons and Stamina-boosting attributes and equipment, as well as critical hit chance and crit damage. Featured items include the Delver's Caution unique ring and the Climber's Crampons, the latter of which is a unique set of boots that increase parkour speed by +30%. With this build, you'll be sliding across the battlefield and knocking down everyone in your path, then running for the high ground to power slam unsuspecting enemies from the top rope.

Avowed: Best Abilities For A Parkour Build
Power Slide & Power Jump Are Parkour Essentials
For abilities, you'll choose options from both the Fighter and Ranger trees, with Power Slide and Power Jump being the featured skills. Charge should be your starter ability, and is a strong option while gearing up. The build kicks online when you have both Power Slide and Power Jump activated. Evasive is essential for Stamina maintenance, and you'll be utilizing dodge as your main defensive tactic. Finesse, Critical Strike, and Devastating Criticals are your core damage drivers, and will enhance your one-handed melee attacks substantially. Built to Destroy is also great for this build, though not essential.

Flurry of Blows |
For higher-level abilities, Flurry of Blows and Clear Out will be the best options, with Retribution being a powerful boost if you have the extra skill points to invest. Flurry of Blows is easily the most effective for this build, maxing out your attack speed and enhancing both movement speed and stamina regeneration. In of Avowed's Godlike abilities, Severed Branch will give you maximum movement speed. Giatta is your best companion option with the Acceleration ability maxed out, while Yatzli's Arduous Delay of Motion will help slow enemies down and make it easier to power slam or slide through big groups of enemies.
Best Attributes In Avowed For A Parkour Build
Dexterity Is The Foundation Of Parkour, So Grab Lots
Dexterity is going to be the main attribute for a number of reasons, and will affect the strategy for this build significantly. Dexterity affects Attack Speed, Reload Speed, and (most importantly) Action Speed. Actions include equip speed, consumable use, and parkour specifically, so it's essential to prioritize Dexterity investment as you level up. Various consumables affect Dexterity as well and should be utilized whenever possible, such as the Darkest Rauataian Chocolate Cookie and Tani Cream. This build leans into high Attack Speed by dual-wielding daggers/swords/spears, but Dexterity is not the only Attribute that matters.

Avowed: Best Starting Attributes (Which Stats To Get First)
There are six main attributes in Avowed, and while it isn't exactly clear which ones you should get first, the choice will depend on your build.
In addition to Dexterity, you'll want to invest in Resolve in order to keep some gas in your tank while sprinting back and forth across the battlefield. Stamina can be enhanced in other ways, so don't go overboard here, but even just a few points in Resolve is recommended. Similarly, I recommend investing in Perception to some extent in order to increase Critical Hit chance, or alternatively, lean into Might (or both) to increase base damage. This decision will ultimately come down to which weapon you choose, with spears having the highest critical hit chance.
Best Accessories, Armor, & Items For Parkour
The Climber's Crampons & Delver's Caution Are Essential Parkour Items
There are a few parkour-specific items that need to be included here, but outside of those, this is a very versatile and flexible build, allowing you to cater the specific weapon choices to your individual tastes. Personally, I found two unique armor in Avowed, any light armor will do, but the Wolf's Armor provides +4% Damage reduction while sprinting, which you'll be doing a lot of.

Parkour items that you absolutely need slotted are the Delver's Caution ring (+15% parkour speed), the Climber's Crampons (+30% parkour speed), and either the Arcanist's Gloves, Bracers of Bloodletting, or Spellblade's Gloves, each increasing parkour speed. Which gloves you choose should synergize with your weapon choices, and there's a good argument for a poison-based build with the Spellblade's Gloves in the endgame stages. The Poisoner's Kit and Vindictive Band are great alternatives that can lean into a poison melee build to complement your parkour skills. Otherwise, the Vailian Dueling Ring and Cartographer's Companion are ideal.
Best Strategy For A Parkour Build
Slide, Slam, Smash, Stab Your Way To Victory
Once you have Power Slide and Power Jump up and running, the best strategy for this parkour build is to seek the high ground for power slams on enemy groups. As your Power Jump recharges, you can sprint and slide into enemies to knock them down, then spring back and shank them over and over again with your increased attack speed, hopefully landing some significant critical hits in the process. Depending on your weapon choice, elemental damage such as poison, fire, and frost will slow down or finish off enemies if your combo attacks somehow didn't manage to.

Avowed: Abilities Tier List - Best Abilities Every Godlike Should Know
Avowed is full of amazing abilities for each class, but some are simply way more useful and powerful. Here they are ranked according to tiers.
More than anything, this build is super fun. Power jumping or sliding into groups of enemies will never get old, and knocking them down like bowling pins is as fulfilling as it is hilarious. The best part is that your parkour skills are extremely handy while exploring, especially in Shatterscarp and Galawain's Tusks. The parkour build is also flexible and can be adjusted based on your weapon and armor preferences, since it only relies on a few key items. Overall, this parkour build is perfect for adrenaline lovers and anyone looking for a change of pace in Avowed.
