Dawnshore is the first major area in the Living Lands for a moderate amount of Skeyt and always have some interesting and cryptic clue alongside an image depicting physical structures or landscapes where the treasure is located. Dawnshore has three available treasure maps and treasure chests: the Intimidating Feline Codpiece, Woedica's Inheritance, and Captain Henqua's Spoils.
Rewards for these treasure maps include: Stelgaer’s Pride, a unique medium armor set awarded for the Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure map solution; Gloves of the Strangler, a unique pair of gloves that increase critical hit chance, awarded for Woedica's Inheritance; and the Wind and Wave unique shield for completing Captain Henqua's Spoils. These treasure maps are meant to familiarize you with how these quest types work, so they aren't as difficult as later treasure maps will be. Here's a look at where to find all three treasure maps in Avowed's Dawnshore, their treasure locations, and the associated rewards.

Intimidating Feline Codpiece Treasure Map Location & Reward
Awards Stelgaer's Pride Near Watcher's Mirror
The Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure map is acquired from Lynna, a merchant in Claviger's Landing who sells it for a moderate amount of Skeyt. The map provides a glimpse at an area underneath Watcher's Mirror that can be accessed by heading toward the Watcher's Mirror tunnel, veering northeast, and following the path until you reach a dropoff. Jump down to the below path and follow it until you see some giant skeletons across a ravine. Looking left from there, a small tunnel will lead you up to a destructible wooden barricade. Behind this is the reward for the Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure, Stelgaer's Pride.

Avowed: What Happens If You Report The Refugees In Dawnshore?
As part of the "Escape Plan" side quest in Avowed, players have the option to help the refugees or report them to Captain Aelfyr for their crimes.
Stelgaer's Pride is a Common Quality +2 unique medium armor set with base stats of 18% Damage Reduction and an additional 15 Damage Reduction. It has -35 Maximum Stamina and -30 Maximum Essence, with an enchantment that grants the wearer a unique ability and a Stamina regeneration buff. The Bloodied Fury ability casts Barbaric Shout when taking damage greater than 30% of your Maximum Health. The Lesser Relentless feature of this enchantment gives you a +5% Stamina regeneration rate. Selgaer's Pride is a decent early-game medium armor, but it can also be broken down for useful unique item crafting materials.
Woedica's Inheritance Treasure Map Location & Rewards
Awards The Gloves Of The Strangler Near Gods' Gate
The Woedica's Inheritance treasure map is purchased from a familiar face, Sanza, who is part of the ongoing Cartographer quests across the Living Lands. This treasure map clue points to a hidden area along what looks like a fortress wall, which can only be the walls surrounding Paridis. Woedica's Inheritance can be found on the way north toward Avowed's Woedica's Shrine, hence the name. To find this treasure, start from the Gods' Gate Beacon and head toward the city entrance, banking left before you hit the stairs. Go through the rocks that form a V shape and hug the wall to your right until you hit what looks like a dead end.
A desperate citizen tried to climb the wall just to the south of this treasure chest and fell to his death, leaving some pretty decent loot behind.
A hidden button next to the pink mushroom/flower thing by the wall will open up a secret door to your left. Inside, you will find a chest containing the Gloves of the Strangler, a unique set of gloves that give you a +3% Critical Hit Chance and +15% Stealth Attack Damage. These gloves are excellent for a stealth ranger build or to give yourself a further increase in critical hit chance. These are a relatively easy set of gloves to find early in your adventure through Dawnshore, so it's good to grab them before hitting any significant bounty or quests.
Captain Henqua's Spoils Treasure Map Location & Rewards
Awards The Wind And Wave Shield Near The Old Pargrun Wall
The final treasure map in Dawnshore is Captain Henqua's Spoils, found after climbing to the top of the lighthouse outside Claviger's Landing. The map for this treasure draws a line heading upstream toward a bridge. This location is actually due east of the Old Pargrun Wall and requires a little swimming. The easiest way to locate this is to dive into the river from the Watermill and follow it north until you see the bridge from the picture. Look for a big waterfall to your right. Alternatively, if you come across a couple of soldiers in front of a lift, that will take you down exactly where you want to be.

Should You Place The Splinter Of Eothas In The Statue In Avowed?
Sargamis, the Oracle in Avowed, really wants you to place the Splinter of Eothas in his statue, but there's more than meets the eye.
Dive underwater and look for a small cave with algae in front of it. On the other side of that cave, you'll see a chest and the Wind and Wave shield sitting on the ground. This is a Fine Quality shield with base stats of 49 Block Efficiency, 20 Stability, 140 Parry Efficiency, and 20 Elemental Resistance. Enchantments on this shield include Lesser Quickness, which provides +10% Movement Speed, and Lesser Freeze-Proofed, which gives you +20% Resistance to Frost Accumulation. This is easily one of the best shields you can get early in Avowed and will complete your collection of treasure maps and rewards in Dawnshore.
