Avowed is a huge game, and it's got lots of collectibles to explore; the god totems, like the Totem of Perseverance, give helpful bonuses when activated in your camp. The Totem of Perseverance is the fourth to be found in the game, as each region has its own totems to collect. You should be more than familiar with how they work by now, but finding the pieces is trickier than understanding them.

Before you can slot in any of the totem pieces you find, you'll need to find the Totem Base. Each of the four totems has its own base, which is one of the seven pieces you need to complete the entire Totem. Even if you have all six other pieces, you can't place them or receive their benefits until you place the base down in your camp.

Find This Region's Vendor In The Solace Keep

Every region in Avowed has a set of clues that will lead players to that region's totem pieces. To find the clue document for the Galawain's Tusk region, entitled "Fragments of the Spoils," you'll need to purchase it from Quartermaster Yorgu in the Solace Keep. The Keep is settled on the eastern side of Galawain's Tusk and can be entered after talking to Warden Kosmin.

Bring Marius with you when you talk to the Warden; without him, the Warden will not allow you entry. Once you grab him from camp, the Warden should let you in. Inside, you can find the Quartermaster in the back right corner of the room, behind the statue, where you can then purchase the clue sheet from him for 500 gold.

Each Line Of The Document Is Another Clue

In order of their listing on the sheet, the locations of each piece of the Totem of Perseverance is as follows:

Viewing each line of the clue paper as a riddle will lead you to seven different locations across Galawain's Tusk. You'll encounter many of these while following the main story quest, so don't worry too much about exploring right away. You can check if you've already picked any of these up by looking in the Treasures tab of your Inventory.

Totem Base

The Totem's Core can be found in the Shrine to Galawain in the Twinedwood area of the region, southwest of the Solace Keep Party Camp. Defeat the ogres in the main part of the shrine, then head up the stairs. You'll see a smaller area off to the side with another, smaller shrine; this is where you'll find the Totem Core.

Antler Of The Persevering Stag

To find the Antler of the Persevering Stag, head to the Bridge to the Garden, which you can do pretty much as soon as you arrive in the region. Before crossing the bridge, find the small path to the right of the bridge leading downwards. It will lead you to a ledge holding a body and the Antler.

Antler Of The Pursued Stag

The third piece of the Totem, the Antler of the Pursued Stag, is found north of the region's Pargrun Cache. To reach it, you'll need to head north from the Primordial Depth: North Beacon and between the fence gap to your left. From there, follow the path across a lava river, then enter the spider cave. Head into the lava room, then burn the bramble bush and follow the path revealed after you do. After exiting the cave, you'll see the Pagrun Cache in a tower ahead of you.

While you're here, collect the Hunter's Arrows Of Surviving nearby.

Instead of going into the cache, follow the path to the right until you reach an illusory wall. Using Yazli's dispelling ability, clear the wall and enter the cave that's revealed. Clear the brambles inside the cave to find the Antler of the Pursued Stag.

Wolf's Pelt Trophy

The Wolf's Pelt Trophy is located in the southernmost building of the Ash Forest Outpost near this region's Starmetal fragment in Avowed. If you don't already have a travel beacon, it's a long walk, but with the Ash Forest Beacon, you can fast-travel close by.

Once you reach the beacon, head towards the outpost in the northwest. The southernmost building in the Outpost has some rock ledges around it that you can use to scale up to the top, where the Wolf's Pelt Trophy is waiting.

Hunter's Arrows Of Seeking

To find the Hunter's Arrows of Seeking, you'll need to head to the Mt. Forja Summit, specifically the mines area. If you're playing along the main story, you'll head here during the main story quest "Our Dreams Divide Us Still." After you defeat the main boss here, follow a path to the south that will lead you to a chest containing the Arrows.

Hunter's Arrows Of Slaying

The Hunter's Arrows of Slaying are found in the only green place in Galawain's Tusk, the Slumbering Fields. Starting from the beacon here, head under the archway to the north and then the one under the rock bridge to the north. On the other side, take a left at the t-junction and follow the path up the small hill under a third archway. Climb up to the top of the root/cliff structure here using the rock ledges, then head into the small hole to find the chest containing the Arrows of Slaying.

Hunter's Arrows Of Surviving

The very last totem piece, the Hunter's Arrows of Surviving, can be found in the Lost Village. It's easiest to find them if you do them right after finding the Antler of the Persevering Stag. When leaving the Pargrun Cache, take a left up the cliffside, and then look to your southeast to see a dome-covered building. You can find the final Totem of Perseverance piece inside on a table.

Each piece of this totem has its perk, and choosing which to activate can change the landscape of your combat. You can activate any totem you have the base for, regardless of how many pieces you've gotten. Regardless of your choice, finding totem pieces for each region in Avowed will make you that much more of a threat in combat.
