This week's massive update 1.3.0 in Avowed includes major bug fixes, addresses performance issues, and, most importantly, gives players extra Talent Points. The biggest and best addition to this update is that you'll now be rewarded with additional Talent Points as you guide the Envoy through Avowed's Living Lands. The 1.3.0 update gives players an extra Talent Point at levels five, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30, and if you have already ed those levels, you get the points automatically. So if you just booted things back up and are wondering where all those Talent Points came from, 1.3.0 is your answer.

While the update is sprawling, additional Talent Points are by far the most promising sign of what to expect from Avowed going forward. Avowed has its priorities straight, and the update proves it can give players what they need to be able to simply have more fun playing the game. Because there is so much flexibility in how Talent Points can be spent across each tree, giving players more points to invest in to diversify their build in Avowed makes a lot of sense. If these are the kind of improvements we can expect, I'm excited about what's ahead.

Wizards Can Now Access More Spells

Extra Talent Points are a huge win for players, and will allow you to access more of Avowed Parkour build).

Fire damage can be devastating in Avowed, and this Pyromancer build brings together all the best fire-based weapons, gear, and abilities.

In total, you will now have an additional six points to invest as your character progresses through the Living Lands, giving you better access to skills at each level along the way. This will be especially useful for Wizards, allowing you to unlock better spells and letting you dive deeper into each spell's ranks. The additional points will let you invest more heavily in a single tree, or spread your points across multiple trees to take advantage of previously inaccessible abilities. You'll now be able to take advantage of important early skills, such as the Ranger tree's Scavenger ability.

The 1.3.0 Talent Point Updates Are A Positive Sign For Avowed's Future

I'm Excited About Avowed's Roap Over The Coming Months

The 1.3.0 Avowed update's additional Talent Points are just one of dozens of bullet points in the patch notes. The entire update is an extremely positive sign, and it also mentions Obsidian Entertainment will be announcing a full content roap for the coming months relatively soon. The additional Talent Points, loads of bug fixes and performance updates, and plans for more to come are just a few reasons why I'm excited about Avowed's future. There will very likely be some DLC announcements coming soon, and I'm eager to see if they introduce additional skills, abilities, or even new classes.

Above all, the Avowed 1.3.0 update proves that it wants players to truly enjoy the game and have fun experimenting with new builds and playstyles. More Talent Points are a gesture of good faith from developers, indicating they don't want you to feel limited to a singular class. It may seem like a small tweak, but it will have a major impact on gameplay and the player experience. It's clear that Avowed knows what its fans like and enjoy, and this update indicates that they want you to have even more freedom to explore its incredible features.
