Damien Chazelle's star-studded cast for Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in 1920s Southern California. The R-rated film will explore old Hollywood characters, some based on real-life stars, dealing with the industry's transition from silent films to those with sound.
THR now reports that Babylon has cast Wilde, Maguire, Spike Jonze, and Phoebe Tonkin. The project is being referred to as "The Great Gatsby on steroids." At this point, there isn't any information on who these new cast are playing.
With the Babylon is gearing up to begin filming next week. Paramount Pictures is planning a limited release on Christmas Day 2022, with a widespread debut on January 6, 2023.
Maguire will be returning to the big screen for the first time since 2014, aside from narrating The Boss Baby. The Jonze, best known for his directing credits like Being John Malkovich and Her, is headed in front of the camera for a change. It's unclear if any of the new Babylon cast ' characters will be totally fictional or based on historical figures.
