Crafting is one of the features unlocked through story progression in Babylon's Fall. Once crafting is unlocked, players will have the ability to create new weapons and armor for their Sentinel. The item crafted will match the player's current power level, so it's likely anything crafted will be replaced after a few quests are completed. However, crafting is a good way to get better gear quickly without having to replay earlier quests.

In order to unlock crafting in Babylon's Fall, players will need to complete the Volcanic Cloister, which is the third area of the tower. After completing the boss fight in Babylon's Fall against Moira, Sentinels can return to the Sentinal Force HQ to speak to Ishum at the Forge. Ishum will explain that blueprints and resources are needed to start crafting. Players may already have some crafting materials, but blueprints need to be unlocked or purchased.

Blueprints are immediately available in the shop for 10,000 Conches each. Unfortunately, the blueprints don't show what materials are needed to craft the armor or weapon item, so players will need to purchase the blueprint first, then check at the Forge to see if they have the materials necessary to craft the gear. A lot of the legendary blueprints require players to complete quests, and the requirements will be shown when visiting the Forge and viewing any locked piece of equipment.

Babylon's Fall How to Unlock Crafting Using New Weapons

The easiest way to unlock blueprints is to play Babylon's Fall with friends so quests can be completed quickly. Certain quests will unlock blueprints, and players will also receive crafting materials and Conches for each quest. Since crafting is unlocked after the Volcanic Cloister, there will be a few blueprints to collect along the way as the main story is completed. However, players can also earn blueprints from Skirmishes and Sieges once those become available later in Babylon's Fall.

The materials needed for crafting items vary depending on what type of weapon or armor piece players are trying to craft. Many of the items share the same resource requirements, so players will need to prioritize the equipment they need the most to be able to move on to the next quest. Some crafting materials are also available to purchase at the shop, but the resources are limited and can only be purchased a few times before they become unavailable.

Some of the less common crafting materials can also be obtained through the Battle in Babylon's Fall. However, it takes much longer to progress to the next tier than it does to complete quests and gain materials that way. Players can also use an Item Booster to increase the number of materials they gain from each quest. Crafting is an alternative method for obtaining new gear in Babylon's Fall, but players may still need to grind for the resources to create their equipment.
