Jason Tartick praised his fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe and her co-host, Tayshia Adams, for their on-screen chemistry while filming this season of attempting to defend Rachael Kirkconnell's racially insensitive past during an interview with the first Black Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay. Shortly after his announcement, Kaitlyn and Tayshia stepped in as his replacement and helped guide Katie Thurston on her journey as the lead.
Kaitlyn and Tayshia were announced as the host of the ABC dating series shortly after Harrison decided to take a break from the franchise. Once it was confirmed the former Bachelorettes were taking his place, they headed down to New Mexico, where Katie Thurston's season planned to film. While it may have taken some time to adjust as the hosts of the reality series, Kaitlyn and Tayshia managed to have a great time helping Katie. In fact, filming wrapped a week earlier, as Katie was able to make her final decision early.
When Jason got to visit his now-fiancee on the set of The Bachelorette a couple of months ago, he realized Kaitlyn and Tayshia might steal the show. "I got to go to New Mexico for a period of time. And I had the pleasure of seeing Kaitlyn and Tayshia’s dynamic all behind-the-scenes when we would grab you know, lunch, or drink or anything like that," the 32-year-old revealed to Us Weekly. "And their chemistry is absolutely fire. They have such good chemistry together. I think they balanced each other so well." From what he witnessed during his visit, Kaitlyn and Tayshia brought such incredible energy to the set, he referred to their dynamic as "electric" both on and off-screen.
The host of the podcast Trading Secrets added that he had a feeling Kaitlyn and Tayshia would "bring such a cool component to [the] show that no one has seen before." He couldn't stop gushing about the energy and dynamic between them and how it was something he hadn't experienced before on the show. Off-screen, Jason had so much fun in the hotel and grabbing lunch with the new hosts, so he cannot even imagine "the good energy" they brought while filming. In the beginning, it was reported the women had a bit of trouble getting used to being the hosts, but once they found their groove, they were able to get over the learning curve.
Overall, Jason noticed how much fun Kaitlyn and Tayshia had being a part of The Bachelorette again. The women may have had a rocky start to the season, but they managed to get into a groove and ended up having the best time. Jason is excited for Bachelor Nation to see how Katie's season turns out and Kaitlyn and Tayshia's debut as the hosts.
