The Back to the Future trilogy.
Of course, Doc and Marty weren't the only people to use the DeLorean either. Marty's girlfriend Jennifer (Claudia Wells/Elisabeth Shue) and Old Biff (Thomas F. Wilson) also took spins in the machine - though series director Robert Zemeckis later regretted including Jennifer in the trip to 2015, since she was left with little to do. However, beating them all to the punch when it comes to time travel is Doc's other best pal.

Back To The Future: All 8 Timelines In The Movies Explained
Back to the Future's classic time travel trilogy has been delighting viewers for decades. Here's a breakdown of all eight timelines in the movies.
Einstein Was Back To The Future's First Time Traveler, Not Doc & Marty
Einstein got to test pilot the DeLorean before Doc and Marty
Back to the Future is considered one of the best-constructed screenplays of its genre, because the story flows so well and everything it sets up gets paid off. This includes the introduction of the DeLorean and how it functions. Doc leaves the specifics vague of the machine vague as he straps his dog Einstein into the DeLorean, before using a remote control gadget to speed the DeLorean up to 88MPH and sending it into the future. While Marty is terrified the poor dog was just vaporized, Doc explains jubilantly that his experiment was a huge success.
You see, Einstein has just become the world's first time traveler!
Doc sent Einstein one minute into the future, so when the DeLorean returns to the present, the dog's clock shows one minute in difference. As Christopher Lloyd's Doc underlines, this makes Einstein the very first time traveler by default. This is a detail even devotees tend to forget - though it's fitting that someone named "Einstein" should be the first to travel through time.
Einstein was played by a dog named Tiger in Back to the Future and by Freddie in Parts II and III.
What Happened To Einstein The Dog In The Back To The Future Movies
Einstein was well (time) traveled through the Back to the Future trilogy
Einstein didn't accompany Marty on his visit to Hill Valley in 1955, though he returned for Back to the Future Parts II and III. After leaving him in a suspended animation kennel at the beginning of Part II, Doc and Marty later use Einstein to help them track Jennifer using her scent after she goes missing. Einstein is once again left behind when Doc and Marty travel back to 1955 to fix the broken timeline. His job done, Doc then travels to 1885 and asks Marty to take care of Einstein for him.
After discovering Doc was going to be assassinated during his time in 1885, Marty then has to head back to save him; Einstein is left behind once more. Back to the Future Part III closes Einstein's story on a positive note, with Doc, Clara (Mary Steenburgen), and their children traveling back on the Time Train to pick him up and make him part of the family. In short, Einstein had a colorful time throughout the Back to the Future saga - as only befits the world's first time traveler.
