Baldur's Gate 3 may already be overflowing with different character creation options, but one dedicated player is going above and beyond to add another popular Dungeons & Dragons race to the game. Since developer Larian Studios has been so inviting to modders, fans of the role-playing game have spent plenty of time creating original content to expand upon the already massive experience. Despite how faithfully Baldur's Gate 3 captures the essence of D&D, some players want even more diversity.

Per a post to Reddit by u/cobalt_owl (via GameRant), the is currently working on a mod that will allow players to create a Tabaxi character, a race that ultimately didn't make it into Baldur's Gate 3:

The creator notes that, for the time being, they've only created a male character model with a "caracal-inspired skin," but they plan on adding even more Tabaxi-themed content to the RPG, including race-specific abilities pulled directly from Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Players interested in the Tabaxi mod can find more on CobaltOwl's Patreon, where they share consistent updates on how their work is progressing, or check it out when it launches for free on Nexus Mods in April.
