Getting the Duellist’s Prerogative in Legendary weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3 tend to be fairly difficult or at least challenging to obtain, and that is very much the case with Duellist’s Prerogative. It is, however, also very much worth the effort, as it can make specific hero builds much better. Duellist’s Prerogative has very special perks.

When equipped on the main hand and while the off-hand is empty, Elegant Duellist is activated and the character scores a Critical Hit when rolling a 19 die roll. They also get an additional reaction per turn. With Withering Cut, on a hit with a melee weapon, you can use a reaction to deal extra Necrotic damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You can also strike a second time if you are not dual-wielding, and you unlock a spell that can inflict Bleeding. This makes it a great weapon for Wyll in Baldur’s Gate 3, for instance.
