Shadowheart is easily one of the most beloved characters in Baldur's Gate 3 and while she may have plenty of fans, not many have managed to recreate and build her powerful Dark Justiciar armor faithfully. Within the Forgotten Realms, Dark Justiciars have become a rarity as most of the elite warriors were killed defending the Gauntlet of Shar and Grymforge. During Tav's adventure, they'll come across an opportunity for Shadowheart to embrace her long-held wish of becoming a Dark Justiciar, gaining a new purpose and some incredibly cool armor.

Posted to Reddit by Frau_Haku, the cosplayer showed off their build of Shadowheart's Dark Justiciar armor, equipped with the appropriately imposing spear and headpiece.

What makes this particular cosplay so impressive is the fact that every armor piece is made out of metal, with Frau_Haku noting that they enlisted the help of a team of actual blacksmiths to create the individual pieces. They also explain that actually wearing the outfit, which was built in little over a month, can be incredibly taxing given the weight of the metal when it's all been assembled into one complete look.

Speaking out about the actual build, Frau_Haku stated that the armor weighs around 20kg, so it's an impressive feat that they're able to walk around in it without assistance. The cosplay itself has gained thousands of upvotes on Reddit as s praise the amount of effort that clearly went into bringing every aspect of the Dark Justiciar to life. Frau_Haku is an especially talented cosplayer and has earned acclaim for various other projects including an impressive cosplay of fellow Baldur's Gate 3 character Lae'zel.

Upon meeting Shadowheart in the early hours of Baldur's Gate 3, it becomes clear the Cleric is devoted to the goddess Shar, as she says that she will do whatever the deity requires of her without question. she can also refuse Shar's demand to kill Nightsong, gaining a newfound sense of independence.

The Dark Justiciar armor is excellent for stealthy characters, especially when paired with the devastating Shar's Spear of Evening which provides advantage to all Saving Throws performed while Obscured.

Baldur's Gate 3 may have wrapped up development but that doesn't mean the game's most popular characters won't return in some way or another. The title is officially part of Dungeons & Dragons' canon, meaning Shadowheart and the rest of Tav's crew could easily return in a new adventure, be that as a video game or a reference book for the tabletop game. Wizards of the Coast has yet to address the future of the game's cast but it has acknowledged the distinct chance that they could feature in some supplementary content.
