Zoë Kravitz is basing her role in the film Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and It's Kind of a Funny Story, among many others.
Recently, the actress showed off her DC Comics film universe have been kept rather quiet.
Now, thanks to a new report by Variety, excited fans now know exactly where Kravitz took inspiration from when getting ready to portray Catwoman on screen, and it definitely wasn't from the comic books. "I was never into a lot of the comic books, but that world was always very intriguing to me," Kravitz said, speaking to reporters after a TCA . "I think Catwoman is an iconic character... and then of course Michelle Pfeiffer - her performance has always been super inspiring to me."
Kravitz's respect of Pfeiffer is well documented, as she once itted on The Ellen Show that the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which was to "make sure, while deg the costume, they consider how you're going to go to the bathroom."
With The Batman set to premiere in 2021 and the film currently shooting in London, it won't be long before fans get to see just how much of Michelle Pfeiffer's iconic attitude will be present in Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman portrayal. Having already voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie, Kravitz surely has a strong grasp of the character already, and as long as she takes her idol's advice and makes sure her costume designers make it possible for her to relieve herself whenever necessary, things are looking quite good for her role in The Batman.
