Batman fan art pays homage to Jason Todd's tragic DC Comics history and his transformation into Red Hood, as seen in adaptations such as Batman: Under the Red Hood and Titans. Jason Todd is undeniably the most tragic figure in the Bat-Family, as his second chance to turn his life around as Robin was cut abruptly by the Joker, who killed Jason and led him down a dark path after his resurrection. As the villain-turned-hero Red Hood, Jason continues to struggle with resentment and a thirst for revenge.
On TikTok, noka.a shares an animated short that summarizes Jason Todd's story. The short briefly visits every era of Jason Todd's journey, first as a kid with a troubled childhood, then as a novice Robin, then hurt by the Joker, then taken in by Ra's and Talia Al Ghul, and finally as the vengeful Red Hood. The video also features Batman's reaction to Jason's death and Jason's reaction to seeing his own grave. Watch the full video below:
What The Jason Todd Animation Means For DC
DC's Death in the Family storyline has been one of the biggest events in Batman history. It cemented the Joker as an unstoppable force, reaffirmed Batman's quest for justice with a second major tragedy in his life, and split Robin's history in two. Death in the Family became a defining moment in Gotham's mythos, and it created a new villain in the Red Hood. Red Hood already appeared in live-action in Titans, and his popularity might take him to the big screen if the DCU adapts Jason Todd in The Brave and the Bold or a future sequel.

The DCU Could Have FOUR Robins After Years Of DC Movies Ignoring Batman's Boy Wonder
The Brave and the Bold, Dynamic Duo, and another unconfirmed DC Universe project will all likely feature different versions of the Boy Wonder.
Jason Todd's downward spiral is rooted in betrayal and loss. Introduced as the second Robin, Jason was initially meant to be a symbol of hope, but a string of misfortunes led him down a different path. Jason’s anger and desire for vengeance stand in stark contrast to how other characters, like Bruce Wayne, respond to tragedy. While Batman channels his pain into a relentless but non-lethal crusade for justice, Red Hood chooses to let out his anger through lethal methods of crime-fighting.
Our Take On The Jason Todd Animation
Jason Todd Has The Potential To Be A Key DCU Character
Jason Todd's complex story and relationship with Batman make him a great candidate to be a ing character in the DCU, or perhaps a main villain in The Brave and the Bold, a sequel, or a spinoff. Since Batman Forever and Batman & Robin's controversial take on the Dynamic Duo, Robin has only appeared on the big screen as the DCEU's unnamed dead Robin, whose costume was stored in the Batcave in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The DCU could go beyond a mere hint to Jason Todd's death and adapt Death in the Family and Under the Red Hood in order to present an unprecedented big-screen Batman villain.
