The steampunk-like design for The Night and his costume is described as "almost android in appearance," featuring a highly polished armor texture juxtaposed by tattered remnants of the apocalypse outside the sanctuary. Sook's design intentionally made Batman relate to the two different worlds he was in - with elements pulled from a darker, decrepit world, with high-tech features throughout.
