Superman's powers with ease, but he can master them, too. The Dark Knight often takes on the Man of Steel's complicated powers and knows how to use them without a problem.

When Earth is invaded by villain-worshipping fifth-dimensional imps, the Justice League are quickly overwhelmed. Both Green Lantern and Flash are defeated by Sinestro and Kadabra respectively, which leads to Robin being magically powered up by Mr. Mxyzptlk in Batman / Superman: World's Finest #26 by Mark Waid and Dan Mora. This power-up grants Robin all the same powers as Superman, and he uses them to quickly bring down Sinestro.

Comic book s: Robin is overwhelmed when he uses Superman's telescopic vision.

With his new powers in hand, Robin thinks it'll be a piece of cake to defeat the remaining villains, and trying to track them down, he tries to use his new telescopic vision to pinpoint the remaining villains. Unfortunately, this doesn't go well, as Robin is quickly overwhelmed by just how much he can see and hear and has to ask Mxyzptlk to remove his powers. But Batman has never had this problem when he gains control of Superman's powers.

Unlike Robin, Batman Can Use Superman's Powers with Ease

Batman Is One of the Most Disciplined Men on Earth

Comic book s: Robin struggles with Superman's powers, and Mxyzptlk explains why.

Batman is one of the most well-trained human beings on Earth. He traveled the world and learned from every mentor that he could to become the best that he could be. It's not an understatement to say that Batman is the pinnacle of human strength. He's capable of holding his breath for several minutes with no problems, has an entire backup personality stored in his brain, and quickly learns any subject he tries. This brilliance also seemingly allows him to master any superpowers he's given, even though Batman shouldn't be used to having powers.

When Batman got the Mobius Chair in Darkseid War, he instantly understands how to use it. While some might argue this is because the chair grants the omnipotent knowledge, including how to use it, there are other examples of Batman instantly learning how to use powers. When Batman was infected by the Amazo Virus, he gained sonic-based powers, which he instantly diagnosed and effectively used himself. In one universe, Superman has to transfer his powers over to Batman, which Batman also easily masters with no problems.

The Darkseid War, an essential Justice League story by Geoff Johns, Jason Fabok, Francis Manapul, and Brad Anderson, is available in collected editions from DC Comics.

Batman Has Never Had Issues Mastering Superman's Powers

Because of the breadth of Batman stories, giving him powers when he famously doesn't have any is an exciting storytelling prospect. Considering his best friend is also Superman, it's not hard to wonder what Batman would be like with Superman's iconic powers. While other characters quickly get overwhelmed by being able to see and hear everything, this hasn't ever been shown happening to Batman. While Robin had to give up Superman's powers the moment he tried to use the complicated ones, Batman has always been capable of using them with ease.
