The Mark V Batman is seemingly a fan. In Batman: Li'l Gotham #16, the Dark Knight is on vacation with Selina Kyle when their trip is interrupted by a Joker wannabe. Luckily, Bruce has contingencies in place, just like fellow billionaire Tony Stark.
The suitcase armor is definitely one of the MCU's most popular. It debuted on-screen in Iron Man 2 in 2010. As the name suggests, it is Tony's fifth Iron Man suit and compartmentalized in a suitcase for easy access. It is also the first portable Iron Man suit in the MCU. It is red, silver, and absolutely iconic. It's also incredibly practical as crimefighters with major public profiles need to be able to jump into action quickly and this super costume is perfect for meeting that need. Even Batman thinks so.
Batman Li'l Gotham #16 comes from the creative team of Dustin Nguyen, Derek Fridolfs, and Saida Temofonte. This digital-first chapter, published in 2013, gives Batman an adventure on the high seas along with an incredible Batsuit. The story sees the titular hero captured while out of costume, simply as Bruce Wayne. The Joker wannabe, Captain Greenbeard, forces him to walk the plank, which the hero readily does because he's prepared. His watch has a button that will grant him access to his own suitcase suit. The suitcase is seen zooming through the ocean to Bruce's underwater location, where it opens up. Initially, the suit seems fairly standard given the cowl, but once he resurfaces, it is far from ordinary. It incorporates several aspects of Iron Man's suit and even gives Batman a new color scheme that fans definitely won't be used to.
Traditionally, the When asked about Bruce Wayne, he makes sure to say he saved him and flew him to shore.
Catwoman quickly notes that this is the same as Superman's method of "saving" Clark - highlighting just how much Batman has learned from his ally. It may not be his usual way of operating, but Batman's suitcase suit definitely mirrors one of Iron Man's best MCU suits and he definitely makes it work.
