Murphy's first Batman series set in the 'Murphyverse' was Batman: White Knight. The book was a new take where the Joker became cured of his madness and went after Batman, calling him out to the public as the true villain. The eight-issue miniseries had a successful run and led to the series Batman: Curse of the White Knight early last year. That series focused on Batman's history and the return of Azrael. don't expect the Joker to come back. No inner monologues, as Murphy isn't a fan of using them. The comics must come out on time, which is a good thing for readers. Lastly, Murphy stated that "only the best talent who puts customers/readers first." So, with those parameters in mind, the 'Muphyverse' will soon be expanding with a hopefully very talented/diverse pool of creators that can bring something new to his already excellent world. It's exciting to see Murphy expand the White Knight universe. The result should be some fantastic books that will continue to build on what he initially started. Batman is in good hands in the 'Murphyverse.'
