Beast Boy, the emerald-green shapeshifter just became DC's most adorable superhero in Titans: Titans Together #3. Beast Boy is known to reflect the duality of the animal kingdom possessing the ability to transform from cute and cuddly to deadly and destructive. Beast Boy has been everything from vicious tigers to lovable kittens throughout his history as a DC hero.
Beast Boy's Teen Titans. Beast Boy can attack and defend with the best of them but he does have a specialty often used for ambush tactics by his comrades. The skilled shapeshifter consistently uses the cuddliest of the animal world to capture the attention of foes while his teammates prepare to assault their unsuspecting prey.
Beast Boy's expert diversionary skills are displayed in Titans: Titans Togther#3 by Andrew Aydin, Marc Guggenheim, Juan Gedeon, Steve Pugh and Mike Spicer. In this issue, Raven goes on a mission to stop LexCorp Labs from illegally obtaining confidential government health records. This is a huge problem because sensitive information could lead to LexCorp discovering the secret identities of heroes. After initial reluctance and quips, Raven is able to recruit Beast Boy to infiltrate LexCorps Labs with her. After Raven pushes Beast Boy away from cover to confront heavily armed guards he morphs into an adorable green kitten.
But how did Beast Boy come to be in the first place" contracted a disease called sakutia in West Africa. Sakutia was incurable and left no survivors to date. Mark Logan uses a formula he initially created for use on animals to reverse their evolution on Garfield, believing that he could survive the illness as a green monkey. After the application of the formula, Garfield briefly changes into a green monkey to ward off the Sakutia. Garfield eventually reverts back to his human form but his skin remains green. Garfield later discovers he has the ability to shapeshift into different animals.
After the unfortunate death of his parents, Garfield s the misfit superhero team The Doom Patrol as Beast Boy. He is most known in recent years as the comic-relief of the Teen Titans. He serves as a core member in every iteration of the team thus far including comics, Teen Titans the animated series, Teen Titans Go, and Young Justice. Beast Boy is a swiss-army knife, able to adapt to battle with most of the foes he encounters. A valued member of any team he is a part of, Beast Boy must also be acknowledged as DC's most adorable superhero thanks to his shapeshifting abilities - which is especially evident in Titans: Titans Together #3.
