Captain Sandy Made Remarks About The Inconvenience Of Aesha’s Injury
Although Captain Sandy seems to be happy that Chief Stew Aesha Scott is back on Below Deck Mediterranean after a long absence, she made some comments in the most recent episode of the series that were off-putting to viewers. After Aesha had some glass stuck in her hand from a guest activity in the previous episode, she had to seek medical attention. While Sandy was concerned for Aesha, she explained that the fact that her Chief Stew had to go to the hospital to get help was inconveniencing her. Rather than caring for Aesha, Captain Sandy was thinking of herself.
Captain Sandy Was Concerned About Her Perception From A Recent Charter Guest
While Captain Sandy has some understandable concerns about the way the crew will function without their Chief Stew, she’s been selfish in other areas of the season, as well. During the second charter of Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, the Mustique hosted a close friend of Captain Sandy’s and her own group of guests aboard the superyacht. Captain Sandy wanted things to be even more buttoned up than they’d been for the first charter, explaining that she was looking for perfection so that her friend didn’t look down on her throughout the charter. Captain Sandy was thinking of her perception.
Captain Sandy Has Proven To Be Selfish In The Past
With years of experience under her belt, Captain Sandy has proven that she knows and enjoys the pressures that surround a superyacht crew during a charter. Though she’s been successful in navigating the crew and the superyacht through a charter season, Captain Sandy has proven to be selfish in the past, as well. Though she’s shown care and concern for her crew, Captain Sandy has been able to make things about herself in many circumstances, causing her to come off as arrogant or self-centered in the past. With Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 just getting started, Captain Sandy is struggling.
