It's about time to set sail on another season of Chief Stew Fraser Olender, who appeared on Below Deck seasons 9 through 11.
Caio, who is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a new kid on the boat this time around, and his job as a bosun is to manage the ship's exterior crew, which can be tough. It's a prestigious position, and one that comes after years of yachting experience. Caio will have to manage an exterior crew of deckhands Kyle, Jess Theron and Damo Yorg, and ensure that guests have the experience of a lifetime in the Caribbean while balancing crew drama, potential accidents, hirings, firings, and more—all in a day's work for a bosun on Below Deck.
Caio's Age
Caio's Age Is Unknown
Sometimes, a person can choose to go on a reality show because they want to use it as a platform to launch into many other businesses, like influencing, podcasting, acting, etc. This is most likely not the case for Caio, because very little information is available about him online. He has a social media presence, but it's sporadically updated. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who is seeking the spotlight or fame.
Caio's age is unknown, but he was born on Oct. 22, according to his official Bravo biography. The rest of his answers didn't shed much light on who Caio is as a person. When asked his "favorite off-boat activity," Caio answered, "Music." When asked about his special skills, Caio again responded simply, "Music." Caio has a ion for music, clearly.
Caio's Job
Caio Is Bosun
Caio will be kept plenty busy during his season on Below Deck, as it's understood that a bosun has one of the hardest jobs on a yacht. It's a leadership position, and it requires strategic management skills and physical capabilities. Caio will be managing the deck crew, making sure everyone is doing their job correctly and that all protocols are being followed.
With 4 to 5 years of yachting experience, Caio will most likely be an excellent bosun.
Aside from work, Caio loves to travel. Obviously, given his choice of profession, which enables him to travel while working, Caio picked the right field. Caio told Bravo his favorite place to visit, either on charter on his own time, is Southeast Asia.
Caio's Instagram
Caio's Handle Is @caiopoltronieri
Caio's Instagram page is filled with photos of his travels and adventures, and, of course, a video or two showcasing his musical abilities. After perusing his Instagram, it's safe to say that Caio enjoys music, travel, tattoos, surfing, swimming with sharks, off-roading, and many other activities. Places he's visited include the Bahamas, Spain, Croatia, the Phillipines, Morocco, and more.
Caio has a taste for adventure and thrill-seeking, and he appears to have a large social circle of friends to him.
It's unclear whether Caio is in a relationship, but with his big smile, shaggy brown curls, and tatted arms, he'll no doubt find himself entangled in a "boatmance" or two. By the looks of this season's trailer, released by Bravo, there will be lots of fraternizing among the crew. Who knows, maybe Caio will even serenade a lucky crew member or charter guest on board. It will be exciting to get to know even more about Caio when the season premieres.
Below Deck season 12 premieres June 2 at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
