Ben Affleck's Batman has faced many classic villains from his rogue's gallery in the DCU. First debuting in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
Though the dark 20 year past of Affleck's Batman has not been explored or seen in much detail, enough has been revealed to show that he has faced many of his best known villains in that time. Many of these villains have also been seen in the present-day tales of Affleck's Batman, with Zack Snyder's teased Knightmare timeline even creating unexpected alliances with some old enemies. Here is every villain that Ben Affleck's Batman is confirmed to have fought in the DCU.
The Joker
The infamous Clown Prince of Crime the Joker (Jared Leto) has a long and bitter history with Affleck's Batman in the DCU. Seen in the Knightmare, the Joker and Batman forces in order to rewrite the timeline to prevent Darkseid's invasion.
Harley Quinn
Mr. J's therapist-turned-lover Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is another villain Affleck's Batman has faced in the DCU. In Suicide Squad, Batman catches up to the Joker and Harley speeding through Gotham, with the Joker putting their car into Gotham Harbor. Though the Joker escapes, Batman captures Harley Quinn, with Harley being imprisoned in Belle Reve and later recruited to Task Force X.
Killer Croc
Another famed member of Batman's rogue's gallery, Waylon Jones a.k.a. Killer Croc is also recruited by Amanda Waller into Task Force X in Suicide Squad (though Killer Croc sat out The Suicide Squad). Though his backstory is not heavily explored, Waller mentions that "He was chased out of Gotham by the Bat" prior to his imprisonment in Belle Reve.
Deadshot
Floyd Lawton a.k.a. Deadshot (Will Smith) is another of Suicide Squad's villains to have been captured by Batman. Seen in a flashback, Batman apprehends Deadshot in an alley with his daughter present, with Lawton becoming another Belle Reve detainee eventually summoned to Task Force X.
KG Beast
Anatoli Knyazev a.k.a. KG Beast (Callan Mulvey) appears in Batman v Superman as an arms dealer in the employ of Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), Knyazev assisting in manipulating the world's distrust of Superman. Knyazev also helps gets kryptonite into Gotham City, which is stolen by Batman to fight Superman. After ing forces with the Man of Steel, Batman battles Knyazev's henchmen in the movie's warehouse fight to rescue Superman's mother Martha Kent (Diane Lane), Knyazev dying when his flamethrower is ruptured by Batman and explodes.
Doomsday
Described by the Kryptonian scout ship's A.I. Kelor (Carla Gugino) as an "ancient Kryptonian deformity", Doomsday is created by Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman from the corpse of General Zod (Michael Shannon). After being unleashed by Lex when Batman does not kill Superman, Doomsday rampages through Metropolis before being led to an abandoned Gotham City port by Batman in the Batwing. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) forces to stop the out-of-control Doomsday, with Superman striking the killing blow against Doomsday with the kryptonite spear Batman had originally intended for him. However, Doomsday impales Superman through the chest with a bone spike in his arm with both of them dying.
Lex Luthor
The sinister billionaire businessman Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) engineers Batman's enmity against Superman from behind the scenes in Batman v Superman. Lex Luthor also plays a role in summoning Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) and the forces of Apokolips to Earth after Superman's death. When Batman arrives to inform Lex of his transfer to Arkham Asylum in the movie's ending, Lex ominously teases Batman that "The bell's already been rung" and that "He's hungry, he's found us, and he's coming!", referring to Steppenwolf's impending invasion.
Steppenwolf
In Zack Snyder's Justice League, the powerful Apokoliptian general Steppenwolf leads an army of Parademons to Earth to locate the three missing Mother Boxes after Superman's death. Under Batman's leadership, the Justice League unites to stop Steppenwolf, with the team using one of the Mother Boxes to revive Superman. With the Man of Steel resurrected, he, Batman, and the recruits of the Justice League defeat Steppenwolf in an abandoned nuclear site in Russia, with Wonder Woman decapitating him.
Darkseid
While Steppenwolf leads the charge against Earth in Zack Snyder's Justice League, Darkseid (Ray Porter) commands the invasion from his throne on Apokolips. After Steppenwolf's defeat, Darkseid orders his right-hand man Desaad (Peter Guiness) to "Ready the Armada. We will use the old ways." This sets the stage for the apocalyptic Knightmare future teased in Batman v Superman and Zack Snyder's Justice League, in which Darkseid uncovers the Anti-Life Equation and conquers Earth as Batman leads the battle against him.
Knightmare Superman
While the Man of Steel is obviously the purest of heroes, he is turned into an unwilling antagonist in Knightmare timeline. After Darkseid's murder of Lois Lane (Amy Adams), he uses the Anti-Life Equation to turn Superman into his minion and overtake Earth. Batman's plan, seen in the outline for Snyder's intended Justice League sequels, was for The Flash (Ezra Miller) to travel back in time to stop Lois's death at Darkseid's hands, which in turn would prevent Superman's weaponization by Darkseid that would lead to Earth's downfall.
Deathstroke
The planned villain of Ben Affleck's unproduced, James Bond-like Batman movie, Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) is hired by Lex Luthor to take out Batman at the end of Zack Snyder's Justice League. Slade already has a deep history with the Dark Knight, describing his vendetta against him as "personal", with Manganiello saying Slade blames Bruce for his son's death. Additionally, Batgirl was to have also fought alongside Batman against Slade. Like the Joker, Deathstroke would later become Batman's ally in the Knightmare future, while still standing as perhaps the most embittered villain Ben Affleck's Batman had ever fought in the DCU.
