Zom 100 is available on many streaming services, but it speaks to how essential the series became when it debuted its anime. This can be said either about Akira Tendo's regained joie de vivre or even through the performance, such as Zeno Robinson's electrifying English dub portrayal. The Zom 100 anime is a tour de force, all about zombies, and thriving instead of surviving.
While the series is marred by production issues for its first season, with newer studio Bug Films at the helm, it's still an essential new series from 2023. It features fantastic animation, hilarious comedy, and an important reminder to seize the day, like the world ends tomorrow. For now, fans can only hope for a season 2.

Speaking of feel-good anime, Spy x Family is an absolute delight. Focusing primarily on the relationship between the Forger family, the series does a wonderful job maintaining a balance of the humorous and the wholehearted. Despite the tense espionage plot embedded into the story, it feels far more wholesome than anything else, though it does feature fantastically animated action sequences.
Seeing the day-to-day joy that Anya experiences with her new family, in her new life, making friends and the adorable antics that are her endeavors to assist Loid with his missions is, without a doubt, entirely heartwarming.
